Mamee Monster Snek Mi, old-school chocolate biscuit bar, Haw flakes, kickapoo, coke, coffee, and tea – on the house. A small gesture that counts. Nice way to introduce to oversea travellers with some of the classic, famous Malaysian snacks.

We then check out the swimming pool at Level 4. An oasis surrounded by lush greenery, with breathtaking view of Merdeka 118, the second-tallest skyscraper in the world. Dive in with a perfect drink from Cabana Pool Bar, or have a snack as you soak up the tropical sun.
Fitness Centre is right next to the swimming pool, open 24 hours a day for guests to keep up with their weights, cardio or calisthenics workout.

For dinner, we decided to check out Asian Pot, as we heard that the restaurant has an interesting menu that put together Asian dishes with Western twist.
Started with an appetizer, salad and soup. Among the choices available are Pan Fried Turmeric Masala Scallops, Soy Ginger Salmon Gravlax, Calamansi Infused Smoked Duck, Otak-otak English Mustard Salad, Borneo Prawn and Avocado Salad, Tikka Caesar Medley, Yum Nua, Creamy Curry Roasted Pumpkin Soup, Fungi Wonton Delight, Umami Forest Consomme.
Our personal favorite is the Otak-otak English Mustard Salad – mild spiciness, pairing well with refreshing crisp of fresh vegetables.
Mains are equally creative with the East meets West concept. From Lemongrass Chicken Carbonara, Red Curry Seafood Spaghetti, Ayam Kampung Roulade, Tomyam Aglio Olio, to Garam Masala Snapper a la Francaise, Miso-Glazed Cod, Kasturi Grill Sabah Tiger Prawn, Thai Infusion Lamb Medley, gave them a try.
End our meal with Durian Creme Brulee, Sago Gula Melaka, Pulut with Mango Coulis and Rosaceae Tropical Twist.

Rise and Shine! Back to Asian Pot for breakfast the next morning. Fuel up with a spread of international delights – Nasi Lemak, congee, breads, croissant, waffle, muffin, salad, curry mee, chicken soup noodles, yogurt, sausages, stir-fry kuay teow, chicken pau, cereal, etc.. Don’t miss out the egg station. Omelette, poached egg, scrambled egg, sunny side up – order yours!
Another thing we love about Asian Pot Restaurant is the Kiddy Playroom, located not too far from the restaurant. Clean and colourful – bring your kids and spend some time here after the breakfast or lunch!
If that’s not enough, no worries. Parents, rejoice! Bintang Playhouse, the first-of-its-kind children’s playhouse in KL city that creates an immersive experience for young minds is now at Hotel Royal Signature. Definitely a quiet escape for children to learn and play in a safe, fun and colourful environment, at the same time keeping the imagination going.

Weather was gloomy during lunch time so we decided to stay in. Since it was a Saturday, we get to try out the hotel’s Royal Signature High Tea Buffet, available every Saturday from 12.30PM until 3.30PM. Nasi Hujan Panas, Mee Siam, Green Curry Chicken, Braised Duck with Ginger & Green Onion, Trio Zucchini Salad, Chicken Cold Cut, Tomato Peach & Corn Salad, Fruit Tart, Chocolate Fountain, Chocolate Croissant, Cheesecakes, Waffles are some of the highlights from the buffet line.
Unwind & chill at the outdoor garden sofas by the pool in the evening, with a sip of mocktails from Cabana Pool Bar. Cocktail, beers, wine, spirits are available too.

Overall, we had a wonderful stay at Hotel Royal Signature. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Convenient location, nice room, great for leisure travellers, business stay, corporate events as well as for short getaway in the city, like us. Don’t mind returning for another staycay here!
