Moody Coffee in Jalan Kancil, Pudu – a new, unassuming small little cafe in Pudu area that adds hipster thirdwave coffee scene to this KL downtown surrounded by plenty of famous, traditional eateries. Love the morning sunlight here that creates a wonderful #lightchasingmoments for the cafe facade.
From Tuck Cheong Dim Sum to Chun Kei Dai Pu Noodles, Gei Suk Wantan Mee, 168 Wantan Mee, Sek Yun, Yong Kee Beef Noodle, Dawa Dessert, Sheng Li Fried Chicken, Dan Ji Dumpling Noodles – these are what usually come to our mind when you talk about what to in Pudu. So little stomach, so much food to have- never ending makan excitement for us.
So ya, when Moody Coffee opens, we feel that it is a nice addition to this famous KL food street. What’s better is, Moody Coffee begin their business from 8AM, great for morning coffee lovers like us. We can visit early – easier to find a parking, skipping the traffic chaos, then slowly enjoy our cuppa before settling down at one of the traditional kopitiams for breakfast. Or maybe, after, as many shops here open from 6AM.
Moody Coffee menu is fairly simple, putting together highlights including Coconut Americano, Coconut Milk Latte, Ajisai Latte and Matcha Latte alongside with classic Americano, espresso, cold brew, as well as flavoured coffee such as Hazelnut Coffee and Caramel Coffee. Non-coffee drinkers can have a choice of Tsubaki/Houjicha Latte, Rikka/Japanese Black Tea Latte, Suisan/Roasted Brown Rice Latte. You can have pastry to pair with your drinks too. Choose from Classic Croissant, Pain Au Chocolate, Portobello Mushroom, Ham & Cheese Croissant, Blueberry Croissant, Strawberry Croissant. Pastry price from RM8 – RM16.
