Oomph Bukit Jalil – the latest F&B venture for Brew & Bread and Guang Bar, located at The Tropika Bukit Jalil, one of the most pretigous serviced residences in this mixed development and lifestyle spot. Roughly 2KM from Pavilion Bukit Jalil.
The whole space is so spacious and thoughtfully decorated. High ceiling, industrial style with a touch of contemporary – vintage design. Huge coffee bar taking the centerstage, along with exposed concrete and walls in bold forest green finishes, brown leather sofas, rattan wooden chairs, greyish tabletop, etc..
Operating hours for Oomph Bukit Jalil is quite long, from 9AM through 2AM. So it is generally a cafe by the day, wine restaurant as the sun goes down. Come by in the morning for laid-back brunch; or in the evening for dinner – the whole ambience is so different, when Oomph transformed into a modern wine bar, with live band on stage.

Oomph Bukit Jalil carries a full-fledge menu, mainly Western delights covering from salad, soup, pasta, burgers, main course to bread, pastry and cakes. Reasonable price range, which is the plus point. Ordered Aglio Olio Pasta to share. RM17 for a hearty portion, tossing spaghetti with mushroom, turkey ham, japanese cucumber, cherry tomato. You can opt for an add-on of hand-battered fried chicken too, at separate charges.
Or you can go for Big Breakfast, Avocado Toast, Cajun Lentil Stew, Avocado Mango Shrimp with Flaky Crust, Sauteed Garlic Kale Toast, Wild Mushroom Scrambled Egg Toast, Dried Shrimp Egg-Plant Hummus, Buttermilk French Toast with Fried Chicken, Mala Whole Leg Chicken Burger, Real Cheese Burger with Aussie Beef, Handmade Meatball with Cream Sauce, Calamansi Salted Egg Yolk Fettuccine, Truffle Carbonara with Bacon Brisket, Fettucine Pesto, etc..

Can’t go wrong with coffee here, as Brew & Bread has always been a reputable roastery, with over-a-decade experience in the industry. Oomph Bukit Jalil offers two beans options – their classic Driver and Cleanser. We opt for the former – dark roasted, with component selected for their deep sweetness and sturdy body. Other drinks include matcha latte, hot chocolate, peach tea, lemonade, etc.
Parking wise, we didn’t see any direction that lead us to the indoor carpark. Probably because the building is still under construction. But we managed to find one at the opened carpark (*which we guess is the soon-to-be valet parking. haha). This service residence also houses Jaya Grocer, Starbucks, Baskin Robbin, and will have more tenants in future.
