LUUMA Dining & Bar, a brand new rooftop restaurant and bar in the heart of Kuala Lumpur city, near KL Sentral. Designed in glasshouse concept with window covering more than 180 degree of the area, overlooking the iconic PNB 118 Tower.
Spacious restaurant, both indoor and al-fresco area available. A restaurant that is suitable for couple dining, anniversary, wedding proposal, birthday celebration, corporate functions, friends and family gathering. Bright and cheerful in the morning with plenty of natural sunlight shining through, romantic at night.
We visited on a Sunday morning. Saw the staffs busy preparing for a birthday party. Such a thoughtful decoration, and they secure the best spot for the family! Looking great! Perhaps you can consider getting your birthday celebration here too.
Browsing through the menu of LUUMA Dining & Bar, we are glad that for the environment offered, food here is considered reasonably priced. Affordable with extensive options from Malaysian delicacies to Western delights including burger, pasta, pizza, salad, soup, main course. Something for everyone.
The bar section also offers a good list of wine, sparkling, rose, whisky, cognac, cocktails, beer, soju; as well as mocktails, juices, smoothies, coffee, tea, soft drinks for non-alcoholic choices.
LUUMA Nachos Papadom RM28 – A generous bowl of crispy nachos and papadom, topped with chicken bolognese, tomato, jalapeno, spring onion, served with cream cheese sauce.
Also had Salmon Steak RM48 from the main course. Pan seared Norwegian salmon, with mashed potatoes brown cream sauce, olive lemon salsa, asparagus. Other selections include Tenderloin Steak, Grilled Lamb Chop, Fish & Chips, Barramundi, Chicken Parmigiana, Grilled Chicken Chop, Chicken A La King, Rib Eye Steak, Grilled Lamb Rack.
In the mood for big breakfast so we ordered one. Hearty platter, putting together scrambled egg, sausage, ham slices, saute mushroom, baked beans and salad green. Enjoy with a cup of hot late.
Squid Ink Seafood Pasta RM49 is our favourite among the four items we tried. Al-dente spaghetti, cooked together with mussel, tiger prawn, tomato sauce, onion, garlic, parsley, chili, parmesan. Recommended. Saw that LUUMA Dining & Bar menu has Kam Heong Prawn Pasta too, made using homemade kam heong paste. Complete our meal with coffee and fresh apple juice.
