Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur New THIRTY8 Afternoon Tea: Malaysian Voyage — is probably the most thoughtful and creative afternoon tea we had tried this year, by far. Featuring a theme that pays homage to the states of Malaysia and their flavourful small town charms, the menu comprises of a unique selections of dainty treats that will set to surprise your palate.
From Muar Otak-otak to Penang Kari, Perak Bunga Kantan, Melaka Nasi Ayam, Sarawak Pineapple, Ipoh White Coffee, Bentong Tofu Pok, Sekinchan Kelapa, etc., – these familiar local flavours and delicacies are now elevated with a contemporary twist, through an imaginative series of dainty size treats, more than just a classic 3-tier afternoon tea.
A generous range of colourful sweet and savouries, straight from the oven delights, ice cream and sorbet. Each item is worth savored slowly, accompanied by spectacular view from high up. Personally, we would say that it really worth the price for RM188nett per set. We don’t mind returning with friends and family for just casual high-tea, celebrations or gathering.
