Char-Grilled Calamari (RM26.90), Fresh Mango Mint Cilantro Salad, Spicy Tamarind Sambal Dippig Sauce
Many thoughts and ideas came into designing Lucky Peaches Dining Hall + Bar menu. Might be an on going process, but the latest, finalized list put together delicious selections with plenty of influences from Asian cuisines, inspiration from food in different countries, and of course the team’s very own creation.
Fried Vietnamese Pokpok Wings RM25.90
Take this Fried Vietnamese Pokpok Wings as example, a starter snack inspired by Chef Andy Ricker’s famous Pok Pok Wings in Portland. Instead of tossing it in caramelized Vietnamese fish sauce as the original version does, Lucky Peaches gives their fish-sauce-marinated -Pokpok-Wings some crispy crunch with a thin layer of batter, just enough for light crunchiness (nothing too much). Served in a set of 4 wings with sweet, spicy dipping sauce.
Wao Bao Basket
Wao Bao Basket further showcases chef’s creativity in infusing Asian flavours in a unique ways, folding crowd-favourite Crispy Tempura Soft Shell Crab (RM10.90 each); Buttermilk Fried Chicken (RM9.90 each) with pickled achar salad, crushed roasted peanuts, sesame seeds; and vege-friendly Braised Five Spiced Pull Jackfruit (RM9.50 each) with Kyuri cucumber, carrot, cilantro and crushed roasted peanuts into mini Chinese pao.
Minimum order is 3 pieces per basket. Just order 1 flavour each and try ’em all. Our favourite, surprisingly is the taste bud tingling,meat-free Braised Five Spiced Pulled Jackfruit.
Spicy Creamy Korean Miso Japanese Asari Vongole or Black Chilean Mussels RM35.90
Tried this black Chilean mussels cooked in fish broth infused with Chinese rice wine and white wine, flavours lifted up with dashes of chilli togarashi spice. Sided with buttered, toasted sour dough that you can douse with the seafood-sweetness-packed broth.
Creamy Miso Carbonara RM28.90
For main courses, we shared 1 dish each from Lucky Peaches Bread+Burger, Pastas menu; and 2 more from the Main Plates. Started with Creamy Miso Carbonara, a pasta that is as creamy as it is named. A dash of miso, sake and chilli togarashi spice are added in to balance up the overall taste, keeping it rich but not cloying. More bites from streaky beef bacon too!
Smoked Duck Breast RM39.90
Smoked Duck Breast, our favourite dish in Lucky Peaches. Thickly cut, succulent house-smoked duck breast with moist, fatty layer and crispy skin, served over creamy potato mash, cherry tomato, saute seasonal vegetables and red wine reduction. Love the sweet smokiness, just nice, not overpowered. In fact, this dish is so popular that Lucky Peaches actually expanded their Smoked Duck menu by having Smoked Duck Balsamic Reduction Pizza and Spicy Olio Smoked Duck Pasta.
Grass fed ribeye RM79.90
Chargrilled 250g ribeye steak might be a familiar main course for you, but at Lucky Peaches, it gets more noteworthy with thoughtfully prepared sauce and side dishes. You will like their bright, flavourful homemade Chimichurri sauce helmed with sharp sourness, garlicky and herbs aroma. A little twist to the potatoes, beyond the usual French fries of wedges – they have baby patotoes crushed with garlic, tossed with tokarashi sauce from Japan. Nice!
Sliced Ribeye Brioche Burger RM39.90
Sliced Ribeye Brioche Burger, one of the top sellers in Lucky Peaches. It was initially serves only for lunch but the feedback was so good that it is now on their dinner menu too! Thick, juicy ribeye patty, chargrilled and sandwiched within brioche bun with stearky beef bacon, wild rocket, lettuce, jalapeno and housemade soubise sauce.
If you are in the mood for cocktails, Lucky Peaches presents a small but concised selections of re-interpreted classic in a fresh new way. Sampled Aperol Spritz RM28.90, Pineapple Basil Mojito RM29.90, Espresso Martini RM29.90 and Calvados Sour RM45.90.
Our pick? Calvados Sour. It is made with lesser known calvados brandy, apple fruity with a tinge of sweetness profile.
Check out this One Bowl Wonders from Lucky Peaches lunch menu if you happen to dine here during lunch hour.
Burnt Cheesecake
Blackout Dark Chocholate
End the meal sweet with Burnt Cheesecake and Blackout Dark Chocholate from Huckleberry! If you want to know the difference between Tokyo Restaurant Burnt Cheese Cake and Huckleberry Burnt Cheesecake, the former is light and smooth, more delicate. While for the latter, it is rich and dense, more on the old-school rustic style. Which one is better? Depends on how you like your cheesecake texture to be like. We love both though haha.
Latte RM9.50, Cappuccino RM10.50
Both cakes paired well with Lucky Peaches Houseblend Coffee, a chocolaty triple blend with faint hintsof orange and jasmine. Other beverage options include tea, soda fizzies, smoothies, slow press juices, beer, wine, champagne, whiskey and spirits.
