Summergirl’s mum was in Kuala Lumpur last weekend for festive shopping. So we thought of finding her a more comfortable place to stay in instead of squeezing with Summergirl in her limited space room.
Browse through quite a number of accommodation options in Airbnb and decided to settle down with Romance Suites in Old Klang Road, Kuala Lumpur.
Located in one of the luxury urban living concept condominiums in Jalan Klang Lama, Romance Suites can be easily accessed from major roads, with plenty of eateries nearby. Mid Valley Megamall is just 15 minutes drive away, definitely a plus point as Summergirl’s mum loves shopping in this mall.
For the price of about RM300*/night, we get to occupy a fully-furnished unit, well-equipped kitchen, living room, dining area, 2 toilets and 2 living rooms. Just nice for 4 of us to spend a lovely weekend in a home away from home Airbnb!
Living room is the space we love most. Shiny white flooring, colour contrasted by comfortable sofa in champagne gold, with red pillow, adorable plush toys and vibrant purple cushioned chairs to accentuate the overall liveliness.
We can watch TV, play card games, read books and even have our very own Karaoke session here – home owner get all this prepared for us! So thoughtful!
Room with wooden flooring, minimalism design. 1 twin sharing King Size bed in the master bedroom and 2 single beds in another room.
No complains on the bed. Clean and very comfy.
Small kitchen, but beautiful and functional. Refrigerator, stove, oven, plates & bowls, cutleries, pots & pans, everything for cooking and dining is ready so we can cook anytime we want. Of course, mum was the chef that evening. Lovely home-cooked food yeah!
Water dispenser for hot and cold water. Save the hassle of boiling water using kettle for hot drinks.
Washing machine – great for those who stay here for longer period and need laundry.
Washroom with designs like hotel, so pretty! They have shampoo, shower gel, hair dryer and towels, so you can keep your luggage a little lighter.
Hello from The Vercadicos Sky Bridge! This iconic bridge connects the two designer condominiums together, with very Instagram-worthy common space. Also one of the reasons that made us book with Romance Suites. Hehe.
Here, you can burn calories at the sky gym while overlooking the bustling of this urban city..
…Lay back at any of the colourful beanies and read books, or just chill and do nothing.
And then this is interesting, the mini theatre! Exactly like a real cinema hall in small scale. The theatre has special movie screening at designated time. So if there’s any movie that you are interested. Just come down and watch.
Other exclusive facilities you can access during your stay here include the beautiful meditation garden, wet & dry reflexology paths, hot spa pool, swimming pools, children’s water play zone and reflective ponds. So many activities we can do here. We can just stay in for whole day.
Glad that mum was very satisfied with this spacious and comfy Romance Suite we chosen for her. We too, love this place. Owner is very friendly too, and attended to our enquiries swiftly. Personally feel that besides booking this unit for short travel stay, Romance Suite is also suitable for birthday gathering, proposal, staycation and private party.
