Being one of our favourite soup houses in Kuala Lumpur, Alison Soup Hosue TTDI never failed to delight us with their healthy, heart-warming soup. Everything here is prepared from fresh ingredients, without adding any MSG. Here, it is all about real food – a philosophy that Alison Soup House holds on since they opened.
Following what they are prides at, this Chinese New Year, Alison Soup House will be serving Chinese New Year Sets Menu, featuring Nyonya Yee Sang and Salmon Fish Soup as highlights, along with Alison’s signature home-cooked dishes.
There are 3 menu to choose from – RM68 for 2 pax, RM138 for 4 pax and RM198 for 6 pax. Diners can enjoy this CNY Set from now till the 15th day (Chor 15) of Lunar calendar.
Prosperity Salmon Soup
For the first time, Alison Soup House is incorporating seafood into their soup! A hearty bowl of soup simmered for hours, resulting in cloudy broth that is milky, rich in flavour. Generously loaded with salmon chunks too!
Alison Nyonya Yee Sang
Alison Nyonya Yee Sang may not be the most luxurious yee sang in town, but certainly get the scores on creativity and affordability.
Putting together 11 ingredients including pineapple, beet root, lettuce iceberg, carrot, radish, pomelo, lime leaves, 5 spice powder, mixed nuts & flakes, seafood and Alison signature sweet & sour sauce, expect abundant of flavours, textures and colours for your prosperous Yee Sang toss at Alison Soup House.
Hainanese Chicken
Still good as before. Free-range chicken is used. Love the hints of sesame oil that really helps to enhance the overall soy sauce base dressing. If you can take spicy food, make sure to enjoy with Alison special chilli sauce served along. You’ll like the extra spicy kick.
Melaka Pork Satay
Pork belly strips, rolled up on skewers then pan-grilled. Awesome peanut sauce – probably one of the best homemade satay sauces you could find in Klang Valley. Peanuts are chopped coarsely hence you get more bites. Rich and creamy, spicy aftertaste.
Red Dates Snow Fungus
End the meal with Red Date Snow Fungus sweet soup. Boiled in-house with our favourite Tong Sui ingredients.
Each set comes with multigrain rice and herbal tea.
Overall, food in Alison Soup House may not be photography-worthy or gimmicky, but the heart-warming dishes made from fresh quality ingredients makes it worth the visit, for lunch and dinner or in between. Oh ya, it is pet friendly cafe too so bring your cute pets to dine with you. =D
P/S: Alison Soup House will be opened from the 8th day of Chinese New Year. You can still continue to have joyous Lou Hei session with frends & families here, and enjoy a healthier meal after all the heavy and oily food in the first few days of CNY.
