Dolly Dim Sum, one of the pioneer pork free dim sum restaurant in Klang Valley is venturing into their forth outlet in Sunway Putra Mall after the successful opening of the Dolly Dim Sum in Avenue K, Pavilion Elite KL and NU Sentral.
Strategically located within walking distance to LRT PWTC station with a pedestrian bridge linking to it, Dolly Dim Sum Sunway Putra is easily accessible by locals, as well as tourists and guests staying in hotels around.
The restaurant is located at the ground floor, opposite to Starbucks Coffee. You can hardly miss out the beautiful wall mural featuring Dolly, the central character of Dolly Dim Sum, holding chopsticks and ready to tuck into her favourite dim sum as you walk by the shop.
The whole space is spacious and inviting, putting together thoughtfully designed Oriental interior with modern-edge finish, charms added with dreamy pastel colour.
Dolly Dim Sum menu showcases a wide selections of dim sum, from crowd-favourite Har Gao Prawn Dumpling, Chicken Siew Mai, Roasted BBQ Chicken Bun, Homemade Fish Ball, Glueitnous Rice aka Loh Mai Gai, Spicy Chicken Feet to morsels with Dolly creative touch like Doly Golden Fish Cracker, Dolly Mozza Roll, Chewy Meat Croquette and Signature Panfried Salted Fish Bun, just to name a few.
We managed to sample few of the delicacies on Dolly Dim Sum Sunway Putra opening, which are Siew Mai, Sesame Mochi Ball, Golden Fish Cracker, Szechuan Dumpling and Otak-otak Roll.
We love their siew mai, as it is filled with juicy, chunky chicken, prawns and mushroom in every bite. Golden Fish Cracker is something interesting to us, sandwiching fish paste with cheese spread in between cream crackers with salted egg yolk. Crunchy, chewy, flavours amplified by salted egg yolk.
Diners looking for more filling one plate meal can opt for Royal Golden Fried Rice, Thai Style Fried Rice, Crispy Egg Nodles, Wok Fried Beef Kway Teow, Braised Seafood Yee Mee and more. Complete the meal with desserts such as Mango Pomelo Delight, Chilled Snow Melon Dessert, Ice Sea Coconut Surprise, Snowskin Durian Mochi and Sesame Mochi Ball.
