The year of 2016 will be an eventful year for Unique Seafood PJ23 as this famous seafood restaurant participates in Malaysia International Gourmet Festival (MIGF), one of the most celebrated gourmet festivals in Malaysia, for the first time.
Unique Four Combinations Platter 奇怪錦繡四熱拼
Chef Lau Yoong, the head chef of Unique Seafood has crafted a total of 6 dishes for this event, lining up full festival menu (6 courses) at RM28nett per person without wine, and light festival menu (5 course) at RM198nett without wines.
Double Boiled Chicken Soup with Chinese Herbs in Coconut 滋補椰皇藥材雞湯
The menu starts with Unique Four Combination Platter, putting together 4 bite-size appetizer prepared in baked, deep fried and cold-dish style. Followed closely will be Double Boiled Chicken Soup, a nourishing, tummy warming soup infused with flavours of coconut and hints of sweetness from goji berries and red dates.
Baked Boston Lobster in French Style 法式鋦美國龍蝦
Coming to the first main course, diners will be surprised with a huge catch – Lobster imported from Boston, baked in French style to result in a layer of creamy, cheesy top golden baked layer, at the same time locking all the original sweetness and juiciness of lobster within the meat.
Pan Fried Lamb Chop, Mongolian Style 蒙古鋦羊扒
Pan Fried Lamb Chop in Unique Seafood MIGF menu is our favourite. Gravy concocted into sweet and sour with peppery touch, thickly coated to the lamb chop pan fried to right texture – tender with good chews but not rubbery, minimal gaminess, moistened with fat at the edges.
Steamed Scotland Scallop with Minced Garlic & Vermicelli 蒜茸粉絲蒸苏格兰帶子
Spoon everything into your mouth in one go to enjoy the multi-textures and flavours from steamed Scotland Scallop, vermicelli soaked up with flavour of sauce, and mild pungent flavour of chopped garlic that spice up the overall flavours.
Pumpkin Pudding 精美南瓜布丁
End the meal with Pumpkin Pudding, a simple, down to earth dessert. Similar to Thai Pumpkin Pudding but denser, custard-like, topped with crushed peanut and coconut sauce drizzles.
