D Legends Bar in TTDI KL sheds a touch of different with Food Foundry and Goodness Greens Cafe La Juiceria located at the same row, reaching for a more energetic, family neighbourhood bistro bar ambience ideal for dinner hang out after a long day at work, with a pint of beer to ease the mind.
Alcoholic drinks might be the first thing that comes into mind when you first saw the name of D Legends Bar. But this doesn’t sum up all. Besides beer, wine, shooter, cocktail, whisky and so forth, the bistro also has a sufficient list of food who are in fact, great in taste.
Just Bacon RM13
Legendary Bar Biter, Sharing Plates, Legendary Wings, Build Your Own Burger, Sunday Roasts, Weekday Specials and Dessert – D Legends Bar has got all these selections covered in their menu. We started with Just Bacon, to cure our sudden craveing for crispy streaky bacon.
Bendi & Sour Cream RM13
It has been quite some time we didn’t see the word “Bendi”, which means okra, or lady fingers in Malay. LOL. A good try of tossing okra in a bed of yellowish sauce concocted from sour cream, tumeric, onions and curry leaves, creamy but not cloying. We wiped the plate clean with Indian flat bread served along!
Legendary Buffalo Wings RM20
Goes “mild” or goes “insane” with Legendary Buffalo Wings. D Legends Bar offers two options for this all-time-favourite, which is original version and spicy version. We had the former, happily tucking into this deep fried chicken wings jacketed with crispy skin, further coat with a layer of tangy sweet sauce. Served with refreshing celery sticks and ranch dressing.
Chicken Tikka RM18
A classic Indian chicken Tikka with beer? Sounds good, taste better. We can have two orders of these tender, juicy yougurt marinated chicken thigh, rubbed in tandoori spices. Soooo delicious.
Bacon Overloaded Fried Rice RM20
Bacon in the egg, bacon in the rice, bacon in every mouthful. A fried rice that truly lives up to its name – Bacon Overloaded. This is how we love our fried rice to be like, lots of flavours from porky bits that really adds flavours to the entire dish. Like Siu Yoke Fried Rice.
Legend English Breakfast Pizza RM30
Have your breakfast ingredients smoked Bacon, sausages, eggs, mushroom, tomatoes generously topped over a 10 inch thin crust pizza, finished with gooey cheesy cheese. Summergirl had 3 big pieces on her own alongside with other dishes and beer, ended up telling Summerkid that she was VERY FULL. Tasty but filling pizza, could do better with the pizza crust though.
Pork Belly Rendang RM20
Slow cooked pork belly rendang, garnished with crispy, non-oily at all pork skin.
Iced Banana -Vanilla RM12, Iced Banana – Cocoa RM12
Frozen banana, blended into smooth, ice cream like dessert. We prefer cocoa banana more, as it wraps up the taste better with mild bitterness from cocoa. For real banana lovers, perhaps you will like the pure crushed iced banana.
Chocolate Brownie RM12
Chocolate Brownie in D Legend Bar is made from Dutch cocoa, falls on softer, more airy side, but still, chocolaty loaded. Topped with vanilla whipped cream, sprinkles of bacon caramelized with brown sugar.
