We check-in to the King Junior Suites few weeks ago for 2D1N stay.
Spacious at 52 square meters, the Junior Suite makes us feels like we are having our own little haven in the bustling city. The space is interestingly divided into three zones: one for working, one for chilling, and one for snoozing. Floor-to-ceiling windows really make the room feel open and inviting.
The suite comes equipped with high-speed wireless internet, a 55-inch LED TV and a comfortable king-size bed to ensure a restful night.

After settling down, we made our way to Merchants, the All-Day Dining restaurant.
Vibrant setting with communal tables, open kitchens, and décor that evokes the feeling of a bustling marketplace. If there’s a chance, we suggest you to pick a seat near to the window with KLCC view! Private dining room are available too, can be reserved for special occasions.
Led by Executive Chef Adrian Jackson with over 30 years of expertise, Merchants promised a gastronomic journey through global flavors with a focus on Malaysian cuisine. Chef Jackson’s mastery was evident in every dish, from River Shrimp Curry Noodles to Crispy Fried Whole Barramundi with Spicy Chili, Garlic, and Basil Sauce; the Grilled Australian Angus Beef Burger, and the aromatic Mee Goreng Mamak – Make sure to order these signature dishes!

Dinner is exceptional and highly recommended. Perched on level 32, Le Midi – a worthwhile French restaurant that has a beautiful setting of Parisian chic atmosphere with an alluring outdoor terrace boasting stunning views of the city skyline.
Chef de Cuisine Noor Azan bin Hassan at Le Midi has close to 20 years of experience in French and European restaurants at five-star hotels around the world including in Paris, Switzerland, Dubai, the UK, Singapore and Malaysia, and will lead the charge of creating a spectacular dining experience. Rooted in traditional French flavours, Le Midi embraces authentic techniques to create masterful classic French delicacies such as ‘Escargot à la Provencale’, ‘Marseille Bouillabaisse’, ‘Alsatian Tarte Flammkuchen’, and ‘Cote De Boeuf’.

We actually ordered a pizza too but cancelled it in the end as we were already quite full by the time we finish our main courses. Will definitely revisit and try more food from the menu! Le Midi welcomes guests for dinner every day except Monday from 6PM – 10:30PM; while the Bar and Terrace are open for drinks from 3PM – 12AM.

Rise and shine! Went back to Merchant the next day for breakfast, , soaking in the lively atmosphere one last time. The extensive breakfast spread offered a variety of options to suit every palate, from hearty local classics to international options, as well as lighter fare. Our highly recommended pastry – the croissant! So good that we had a total of 4 each ! Luckily they’re in dainty size.
Staff told us that we had to visit the rooftop level, where, apart from the rooftop infinity pool and outdoor jacuzzi with breathtaking views of the city skyline, there’s also a glass bottom floor by the swimming pool. Brave ourselves to step and walk on it. Took photos too. Nice try.
Fitness centre , located on level 33, offering guests a modern-geared environment to maintain their wellness routines during their stay.
In short, we really enjoyed our stay here.
