Velvet Cinema 163 Retail Park, a new boutique-cinema by Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC) with movie and dining experience in one space, in partnership with Alliance Bank, is now another favourite movie date place of ours after Aurum Theatre!
Our visit to 163 Retail Park, Mont Kiara is always for food – coffee, brunch, hotpot. But recently, we found that something new and exciting is brewing in the mall – Velvet Cinema.
Inspired by the retro charm of 1960s cinema, Velvet by GSC highlights vintage aesthetics with contemporary design elements, creating an intimate sanctuary where movie enthusiasts can enjoy a unique, redefined cinematic experience.
Velvet Cinema features three halls and a total seating capacity of 163, presenting a diverse selection of arthouse films, well-loved cult classics, foreign films, and Hollywood blockbusters, spanning an array of genres, including horror, thriller, comedy, action, and beyond. The best part is, besides movies, Velvet also offers a dining space that serves British-style cuisine, and bar counter with specially crafted, movie-inspired mocktails & cocktails.
Since the movie Dune: Part2 we booked was at 9PM, we get to leisurely enjoy our dinner here. The restaurant is having limited time Buy 1 Free 1 for all their a-la carte items. Good deal so don’t miss out!
