We first visited Aurum Theatre The Gardens Mall for beyond normal, extraordinary cinema experience. Named after the Latin word and chemical element representing gold, Aurum features opulent halls, contemporary continental dining from JIN Gastrobar, and bespoke hospitality and service – all of which is designed to deliver true cinematic luxury. From the Getha Lux Suites to the Comfort Cabins and Escape Studios, every hall has been designed with style, comfort, and privacy in mind.
Apart from extra comfortable seats, what makes Aurum Theatre unique is the Getha cuddle pillow and fleece blankets, a personal side lamp, as well as chargers for your devices. There is also personalized assistance with an in-hall service call button, which is available at all seats – which, you can order some food or drinks if you want to. Very interesting experience, despite the rather high price, we found it worth it.
Re-visit this awesome place and check out JIN Gastro Bar, on a Friday night as the restaurant marks the return of JIN After Dark – an initiative that lends a support to B40 local entertainers with a series of performances from May – December 2023, held exclusively on Friday and Saturday nights.
The name of the gastro bar is inspired by the play on the combination of words ‘Jin’, which translates to gold in Mandarin, and ‘Gin’ – is also one of the signature drinks on JIN Gastrobar menu. From quick meals to multi-course dinners, JIN serves up a gastronomical storm for any occasion with a culinary diverse menu with dishes inspired from Asian favourites to Western delights. Pretty nice dining destination in The Gardens Mall for intimate dinners, casual meals, or even after-work drinks – with more privacy.
We began our meals with Trio of Fries, putting together Smoked Paprika, Parmesan, truffle oil and rosemary, Cajun sweet potato. You can also have Signature Nachos, Caesar Salad, Sizzling Prawns, Wild Mushroom Soup, Cheese Board, Spicy Chicken Wings, Teriyaki Skewers.
For main courses, meat lovers can check out dishes like Chargrilled Chicken, Angus Ribeye Steak, Apricot Herb Crusted Lamb Rack, Herb Lamb Chop, Mini Wagyu Burgers, Mini Chicken Burgers; while seafood lovers can choose to have items such as Grilled Halibut, Grilled Salmon. Organic Chicken Lasagna, Truffle Carbonara Pasta, Seafood Alio Olio Pasta, Scallop Mentaiko Pasta further added the food options on JIN Gastrobar menu.
Complete the meal by indulging into sweet treats including the Lava Cake, Classic Tiramisu, Original Cheesecake, Creme Brulee.
For beverage, enjoy an extensive selection of drinks including wine, hair liquor, champagne, and even craft beers at the bar or in a spacious booth of your own. The signature among JIN Gastrobar’s repertoire- handcrafted Spanish-inspired Gintonicas, lively colourful concoctions in a series of flowery and fruity flavours made with premium gin and best enjoyed over sharing plates. Be it classic cocktails or trendy tipples, JIN has everything for the palate, infused, mixed, and served to your preference by our skillful, master mixologists.
