Felt like checking out another cafe after our zen coffee moments at the newest Feeka outlet at The FIVE, Bukit Damansara. Took a stroll to another building in The FIVE, had gorcery shopping at Qra and settled down at Nourish, also one of the latest venture by the famous Kenny Hills Bakers.
Surprised that the cafe wasn’t packed that morning. We still remembered there were queue when we passed by few weeks ago. Picked a seat next to the window, and get ready to enjoy delicious artisan pastry accompanied by beautiful morning sunlight.
Similar to Kenny Hills Bakers, Nourish has a lovely line up of cakes, breads and pastry counter, where you can choose your favorites such as Turkey Ham Tart, Mushroom Tart, Plain Croissant, Matcha Croissant, Nutella Croissant, Cinnamon Danish, Pain Au Raisin, Tuna Puff, Chicken Curry Puff, Sausage Roll, Roast Chicken & Portobello Mushroom Pie, Braised Beef & Portobello Mushroom Pie. What makes Nourish special is their focuses on gluten-free and plant-based meals.
For substantial meal, check out Nourish main menu that covers from the popular Big Breakfast with housemade hashbrown; Vegan Liking with Beyond Meat hot Italian Sausage; Basmati Nasi Lemak, Hangover Hash, Mediterranean Shakshuka, Breakfast Tacos, Feels Good Granola Bowl, Chunky Monkey Oat Bowl, Avocado Toast, Okonomi Brekkie, Kale & Miso Scramble, Crab Cake Benedict, Ham & Cheese Toastie, Ocean Roll and Truffle & Raclette Toastie.
We opted for Crab Cake Benedict to share, along with a cake and coffee. Love the deep fried to golden brown, crispy outside, generously crab-filled within. Topped with poached eggs, spicy harissa hollandaise, and rocket salad. Do not judge this dish by the size. It is very filling. Lunch items such as Spicy Chicken Burger, Keto Fried Chicken, Crispy Falafels, Baked Atlantic Salmon, Hearty Beef Stew, Nourish Chilli Pan Mee, Seafood Aglio Olio, Brown Butter and Mushroom Risotto, Fried Cauliflower, Chopped Kale & Avocado, are available from 11AM – 6PM.
Our new favourite at Nourish – Orange Polenta Cake. Moist, easy to eat, laced with zesty hints of orange. Awesome with black coffee.
