Pokok Lalaport BBCC, Bukit Bintang KL – the latest F&B addition to the Brickhouse Group, which also owns Daun Cafe, Popsicola Poolside Cafe, Ginger Bamboo Hills and ELLO! Gourmet Street BBCC.
We never expect that Pokok KL – the forever in queue cafe at Mahsa Avenue would open an outlet at Lalaport Bukit Bintang. But when they do, we are really happy with their new venture! What surprises us more is the huge space they occupy, at the 4th floor of Lalaport Bukit Bintang, which is right next to the outdoor Rooftop Garden with beautiful KL views. Also the garden where Teamlab Japan is having their Resonating Microcosms art installation.
Very spacious cafe with in-trend, modern design. Pokok Lalaport BBCC offers fresh takes on the design, a little different from Pokok Mahsa Avenue’s interior. Lattice floor tiles, brick walkway, concrete floorings, arched wall mirror, marble table, light wood furnishing, white metal chairs, etc. – all add to the textural variety; along with subtle and soft lighting to create a cozy, comfortable mood.
Love the long terrazzo table top that can fit more than 10 pax at a time. And the coffee bar counter too!
For food, Pokok Lalaport BBCC brings with them an array of new and exciting flavours from East and West for the menu, allowing diners to enjoy lovely dishes while accompanied by a view of PNB Merdeka 118 tower. Full-fledge menu, covering from appetizers to salad, pasta, burgers, big breakfast, wrap, nasi lemak and more.

For drinks option, Pokok KL Lalaport sticks to classic options, where you can have the usual latte, long black, hot chocolate, matcha, tea, fruit juice. Overall, we love the ambience at this new cafe in Bukit Bintang. Price is reasonable considering the location in KL city centre shopping mall. In fact, some of the food price is cheaper than what we get in a downtown cafe. Hopefully this place would attract larger crowd to this still rather empty, yet potential shopping mall.
