Urban Daybreak Bangsar – the cafe where Fried Chicken Waffle takes the spotlight.
It has been a while since we last visited Urban Daybreak Bangsar. Back again last Sunday for breakfast, and it was already almost fully house when we arrived around 9AM. Quite a number of new dishes have been added to Urban Daybreak menu, while popular selections like Fried Chicken Waffle, Stout Pulled Pork with Poached Eggs, remained.

Urban’s Really Big Breakfast RM42
Just as its name, this is a really big breakfast. Enough for two. A generous platter of sourdough toast, scrambled eggs (or 2 eggs youe way), house-made spiced sausage, thick bacon, king mushroom & spinach, homemade bbq baked beans, oven roasted tomatoes, mesclun sald.
The Perfect Omelette RM25
One of our favourites. Protein-packed dish, with smoked salmon & spinach wrapped within the egg, topped with cream cheese, toasted almonds. Finished with a side of salad.
Wild on Shrooms RM30
A newer option on Urban Daybreak’s menu. Sourdough as base, stacked with wild mushroom, white bean spread, portobello, poached egg.
Almond Brioche Toast RM24
Buttery toast with almond spread, flaky almond, mascarpone, berry coulis.
Coffee for caffeine fix. Matcha latte is highly recommended too. Besides classic coffee, Urban Daybreak also serves handcrafted coffee, at the price of RM15 per cup. Hazelnut Divinity, Caramel Mocha, Mint Infused Ice Coffee, Honey Latte, Mint Mocha Latte, Iced Coconut Latte, Chai Latte Float – feel like trying out all. Lol. Raw juices, tea and yougurst smoothies are also available, in case you prefer something else other than coffee.
For food we’ve tried, personally we recommend their Urban’s Big Breakfast. Love the housemade sausage. And not to forget, the evergreen Fried Chicken Waffle. By the time we are leaving, queue began to build up. Suggest to come by before 10AM if you would like to have a more chilling, enjoyable brunch moments.
