Breakfast Spot at Jalan Sin Chew Kee, latest must-visit cafe near Bukit Bintang KL!
Breakfast Spot KL, a new cafe located right opposite to Three Years Old Jalan Sin Chew Kee, Bukit Bintang. For easier direction, look for the rows of building which is one street behind the legendary VCR Jalan Galloway – one of the 50 best coffee shops in Asia rated by Big 7 Travel.
Taking advantage the building’s heritage design, Breakfast Spot KL evokes an old-school, nostalgic atmosphere, keeping the vintage tone along with modern touch. The whole space is so instagram-worthy, right from the shop front. Windows with dark grey steel frames, forest green wall finishing, tiles that remind us about our grandma’s home, arch entrance, ceiling with timber columns, etc., so much details. We actually spend more than half an hour just to walk through the building.
Just as the name implies, every corner here is great as your breakfast spot. You can choose to sit in the glasshouse-like area, or more cozy side with warmth lighting, near the coffee bar counter. The cafe is extended to second floor, which is currently closed for serving. But feel free to ask for permission to go up and take pictures, they would be more than happy to allow.
We personally love the upper floor more. It feels more homey, relaxing. Especially love the seat right next to the window. Hopefully they will open up this place soon too. Would be eager to return for brunch at that spot.
For food, enjoy main breakfast dishes from Beef Sheet Pan to Chicken Sheet Pan, Chicken Cassrole, Egg Benedict, Chicken Carbonara, Napolitana Pasta, AlFunghi Pasta, Pesto Pasta, Taco Seasoning Chicken Sandwich, Chicken Streaky Sandwich, Chicken Ham Sandwich, Open-face ham & Cheese French Omelette.
DIY Breakfast is a big hit on Breakfast Spot menu, where you can pick your favourite combination from over 20 items to build your very own BIG BREAKFAST (minimum 5 ingredients to customize). Potato wedges, mash potato, roast potato, sweet potato, hash brown, overeasy, sunny side up, poach egg, french omelette, scrambled egg, smoked chicken sausage, smoked chicken streaky, hot & spicy chicken sausage, beef sausage, confit tomato, roast tomato, portobello mushroom, saute baby spinach, mushroom ragoat, baked bean, green salad – what’s your favorite combi? For light options, go for croissant, Nutella Almond Croissant, Pain Au Choco, Canele. Dessert here looks good too. Try from Lemon Tart, Tutti Fruit Tart, Berries N Chocolate Tart, Mango Tart, Chocolate Tart, Matcha Tart, Blueberry Tart, Tiramisu Tart, Creme Brulee.
Coffee with beautiful latte art to go with your brunch. Specially crafted cold beverage here is surprisingly nice, hits just right as thirst quenching drinks for the hot weather. We had Matcha Honey Yuzu. Other choices include Matcha Bluepea Lemon, Matcha Rose Latte, Honey Yuzu Tea, Pink Grapefruit Tea, Blue Lagoon Soda, Yuzu Soda, Pink Grapefruit Soda.
