Transparent Coffee, Kampung Attap KL: Fav Cafe is Back!

Transparent Coffee, which used to be in Bangsar Jalan Abdullah (*same shop as Coley Cocktail Bar) is back in action!

So happy to know that one of our favourites cafes in KL is having a new location, at Sam Mansion Flat. Totally have no idea where is this place initially. Google map about it and ahh, I see. It is opposite to ZhongShan Building, Kampung Attap. Look for a residential area in grey & white, with a spacious compound and nostalgic staircases (*we like the staircases!) in front of it.

Transparent Coffee is thoughtful enough to place a signboard near the entrance, directing you to the beautiful shop. The cafe serves from as early as 8AM, a plus point for us as we prefer quiet, calming early coffee session that has less customers. Easy to take pictures too. Haha. Reached at about 8.20AM and there was only one table occupied. Great.

Inviting ambience, modern minimalist design with artistic details, rustic, wooden touch. Even some of the furnitures here are like a piece of art to us. Love the chair.

Transparent Coffee menu is simple for their soft launch period, but noteworthy. Food options covering sandwich, dessert, pastries. For sandwich, tuck into delicious Soft Scrambled Brioche, Chicken Baguatte, Tuna & Sunflower Seed Baguatte, Ribeye Steak Baguatte. Price within RM20-RM24. Dessert focuses on chilled steamed egg custard style indulgence, including Volcancito with musovado, Custard Brulee with seasonal fruits, Lescure Rum Cream. Reasonably priced from RM12.

Other that usual White & Black coffee, currently, Transparent Coffee has Costa Rica Volcan Azul Filter Coffee; also, Nanolot – San Ramon (anaerobic process), Typica (natural process), Geisha (Anaerobic process) ; Microlot – Villa sarchi (natural process), Caturra (natural process).

Ordered only a plain croissant to pair with our latte as it is still early for us. Decided to return for their Scrambled Brioche , because we heard it is good. Service is friendly. People here is awesome too by the way.
