Culinary team from Nook, Aloft Kuala Lumpur Hotel all-day-dining restaurant, headed by Executive Chef Arfizan and Nook’s Chef de Cuisine – Chef Rais, have crafted a special “Warisan Melayu”menu, for you, your family and friends to enjoy when breaking fast.
Sink your teeth into Nook’s Sous-Vide Beef or Beef Brisket Rendang – slow cooked till tender, paired with mint gravy and tangy air assam kerisek; followed by crowd-pleasing Kambing Bakar – melt-in-your-mouth lamb that has been roasted in a variety of local spices and served with homemade Sambal Bumbu, served at the live carving station.
Malaysian favourites such as Sup Periuk, Bubur Lambur, a satay station, rojak station, Kerabu Jantung Pisang, Pajeri Nenas Manis, Nasi Briyani Johor, Assam Pedas Stingray, Chicken Rendang Negeri Sembilan, a noodle station and more are also on offer. Reflecting Nook’s jet-setting vibe, you can expect international dishes such as Wok-fried Kam Heong Crab, Wok Fried Chicken Kung Po, Pan-seared Fish Fillet with Bisque sauce & crispy leek, Pizza, Chicken Cordon Blue with Thyme Jus, Lala Omelette, Hainanese Chicken Rice , just to name a few.
End the night on a sweet note with Kuih Lapis, Cendol & Mango pudding, Claypot Bubur Pulut Hitam, Sago Air Gula and Kolak Ubi. International offerings include Tapai Ubi, Bubur Pulut Hitam, Toffee Bread Pudding with Vanilla Sauce, Salted Caramel Chocolate Pie, Matcha Religieuse, Tapai Ubi and more. Quench your thirst with Air Tebu, Sirap Bandung, Air Kurma, Air Jagung, Teh Tarik, Nescafe Tarik and Kopi Hang Tuah.
The Ramadan buffet, Warisan Melayu @ Nook, is priced at RM148 nett per adult and will be served daily from the 15 April – 15 May from 6:30pm to 10:30pm. Early bird pricing is available at RM108nett until 31 March.
If you prefer to dine from the comfort of your home this Ramadhan, Aloft KL Warisan Melayu takeaway sets are available, where each includes 10 items with a choice of three different main dishes: Daging (Beef Brisket) Masak Rendang, Kambing (Lamb) Bakar Bumbu or Ayam (Chicken) Percik Kelantan. Accompanying your main meat are moreish dishes such as Roti Telur Johan, Bubur Lambuk Ayam, Tauhu Bergedil Ayam, Nasi Minyak and Pandan Sago Gula Melaka. Each set comes with chilled juice and dates.
