Lai Foong Lala Noodles Petaling Street (*Near REX KL) 丽丰啦啦米粉 is now opened, welcoming you for a comforting, pipping hot bowl of Lala noodles.
This new 2nd outlet, which is located just 5 minutes walk from the original Kedai Kopi Lai Foong at Jalan Tun H S Lee, is clearly more spacious, air-conditioned for a more comfortable dining.
Lai Foong Lala Noodles menu is pretty straightforward, similar to their first outlet. Best-seller Lala Bihun is a must have, and a serving of fuss-free Lala Fried Bihun or Lala Fried Rice are equally lovely. If you are looking for a more bountiful meal, go for their Sang Har series – Prawn Bihun (RM18), Prawn Noodle, Lala Prawn Bihun (RM23) and Prawn Noodles in thick gravy (RM20).
Had their signature Lala Bihun, at RM11. Generous portion of rice vermicelli, beautifully soaked up with flavours of the tummy-warming soup, further topped with lots of freshly cooked lala.
Stir-fried Lala Noodles (RM11) is alright, could do better with the wok hei. Some chilli in soy sauce does wonders to complement the overall flavours – just the way we love to spice up the noodles.
Overall, while we enjoy the kopitiam vibes and ambience that orignal Lai Foong offers, the new Lai Foong makes getting a bowl of their famous Lala Noodles easier, less waiting time. Delivery is available too, if you prefer to stay home and enjoy it from the comfort of your home.
