Pullman KLCC eat-all-you-can seafood feast with live cooking stations is now available at their all-day-dining restaurant – Sedap Restaurant, happening every Friday and Saturday for dinner. We are oh-so-excited to check out this buffet, as we heard that there are over 60 dishes to choose from the menu, and we can have lobster, live US oyster, sashimi and more!
And wow, true enough. Seafood lovers will be happy to be here. Fresh live US oyster, slipper lobster, baby lobster, mud crab, prawn cocktail, half shell mussel and half shell scallop. “Don’t choose, have them all” Summerkid said. Lol. Glad that everything is fresh. Didn’t expect that they would serve huge-size scallop!
A touch of Japanese came in next – sashmi, sushi and tempura. Enjoy from Norwegian Salmon Sashimi, Maguro Sashimi, Octopus Sashimi, Nigiri Platter, California Roll, Ebi Tempura and Assorted Vegetables Tempura.
In line with the new normal and hygiene practice, Pullman KLCC seafood feast is serves a la carte style. Ordering process is pretty easy. Each table will be provided with menu sheets. So you just write down the quantity of the food you want, pass to the friendly staff and violaa.. wait for your dishes to come and indulge!
In case you can’t decide what to order, check out the display counter. There’s an array of dishes where you can have an idea on how the food looks like, or what you are going to have in this buffet. Very thoughtful though.
We skipped Salad & Cold Cut section and move on to dim sum & soup – Chinese delights! Sip on tummy-warming Double-Boiled Chinese Old Cucumber Herbal Soup, Double-boiled Beancurd with Bamboo Pith & Seasonal Vegetable Soup, followed by some dim sum.
Three soup noodles options available, including Sarawak Laksa, Wanton Noodle Soup and Mee Soto. They even plated up our Sarawak Laksa nicely with prawn, chicken, vegetables toppings!
Love their Penang Fried Kway Teow from WOK section. It was flavourful, wok hei loaded. Not the best in KL but not all hotel buffet offers a decent version of this. And Pullman KLCC’s one is good, better if there’s chilli in it!
Kam Heong Clam, Butter Oat Squid, Salted Egg Yolk Prawn, Vegetables of the Day, Yong Chow Style Fried Rice also other delicacies you can expect from WOK.
For Western fare, you can try Classic Beef Bolognese, Seafood Aglio Olio, Chicken Neapolitan, Margherita Pizza. French Fries, Wedges with Melted Cheese, Australian Beef Flank Steak, Australian Lamb Chop; or Bollywood Pizza, Malaysian Chicken Rendang Pizza ( Sounds delicious =D) with fusion twist.
While for Asian Fare, more on the list they have Malaysian Satay, Yong Tau Foo, Puttu Mayam, Assam Pedas Oxtail, Chicken Tandoori, Prawn Tikka, Nasi Briyani, Chicken Tandoori, Fish Head Curry and Nasi Mandy, just to name a few.
To finish off the meal sweet, order Banoffee Crumb Cake, Banana Fritter, Red Bean Jelly, Mango Sticky Rice, D24 Sticky Rice, Agar-agar Melaka and Ice Cream. We personally recommend their Banana Fritter, arrived sprinkled with cheddar cheese sauce!
