Le Petit Chef is here in Malaysia again, this round at Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur!
Created by the artists of Skullmapping and first launched in May 2015, Le Petit Chef features a thumb-sized little chef – who is also world’s smallest chef, guiding patrons to embark on a journey across Asia through 90 minutes of avant-garde 3D mapping performance, along with tantalizing cuisines from the continent after each chapter.
The journey entails footsteps of the legendary Marco Polo, who made diverse discoveries in Asia while traversing the Silk Road. Experience multisensory wonderment, explore the cultures and food from different regions – all while remaining seated.
This theatrical dining idea comes to live using cutting-edge 3D visual technology and digital mapping idea. It projects a virtual story onto the tabletop completed with music and props, followed by course menu aligned to the animated storyline. Along with 3D projections, the Marco Polo story will also include soundtracks and scents, which will make guests “breathe the icy air of the Himalaya one moment, and feel hot and heady in an Arabic souk the next”. Cool huh?
Let’s begin our Dinner Time Stories and see what we had from MARCO POLO’S JOURNEY menu!
