We are not sure when things will back to normal, but travelling for holiday will never be the same again. Staying at home is the new norm, and we always have some anxiety whenever we are outside, even just for grocery or to takeaway food. No travel plan for now, so the closest thing that we can relate will be food – Slurp on a bowl of nourishing, pipping hot ramen when we miss Japan; order Thai street snack when we miss Jeh O Chula, had a bowl of Sundubu Jjigae when we think of the chilly weather in Korea; and least, make a big breakfast to recreate Melbourne-style brunch session.
Came across Mak’s Chee delivery 麥氏西池港式雲吞面 the other day it really made us miss Hong Kong street food. Decided to ordered some of their food and had delicious taste of Hong Kong for our lunch at home!
Most Mak’s Chee star products are available for delivery, all freshly made and vacuum packed to ensure freshness. Menu covers from their most popular Chilled Homemade Duck Egg Thin Noodle to Chilled Homemade Duck Egg Flat Noodle, Frozen Pork & Prawn Dumpling, Frozen Sea Prawn Wonton, Frozen Braised Beef Tendon & Brisket, Chilled Curry Fish Balls. You can even have their Premium Dried Prawn Roe, Frozen Homemade Noodle Sauce, Frozen Flounder Fish & Prawn Roe Soup Base, Chilled Homemade Noodle Sauce, Frozen Sweet & Sour Pork to flavour up your noodles.
Items are either chilled/frozen. Just follow simple cooking instruction written on the packet. Love that we can customize our favourite – dry noodles with har zi meen, pork & prawn dumpling and beef brisket; or soup noodles with sea prawns wanton & dumpling; or dry noodles with sweet & sour pork plus beef brisket & dumpling! How we wish they could add our favourite lunchean meat with egg rice into the menu. Lol.
Delivery fee is surprisingly affordable. We stay quite a distance from sending location, which is in OUG. Only RM5 per trip. Guess it would tripled up when we order through some other platform.
