After our “eat like a king” feast at Icheon Ssalbap Hanjungsik – Korean formal traditional set meal that laid out more than 20 types of side dishes at one go, together with rice cooked in hot stone pot, we continued our journey to one of the most anticipated attractions in Seoul – Lotte World Theme Park!
Hello Lotte World! Super excited because it is our first time here, even though we have been to Korea for few times!
Easily accessible by aligning at subway Jamsil station, Lotte World in Songpa district is a massive entertainment hub in Seoul. It is the home to Lotte World Theme Park – the dream wonderland of every kid. Along with that, Lotte World Mall, Lotte Hotel World, Lotte World Aquarium and…
…spot the new Lotte World Tower – the 5th tallest building in the world, standing 123 stories and 555m high, are just nearby.
We stationed ourselves only in Lotte World Theme Park as the weather had been quite sad with non-stop raining since morning. Nonetheless, we had a fun-filled time with lotsa’ rides!
Being the largest indoor amusement park in the world, Lotte World Theme Park houses over 50 types of rides and games, spanning across four floors.
Waiting time for some of the popular rides are quite long, so do be patient.
Enjoy rides like Dragon Wild Shooting, VR Space, Eureka, Jumping Fish, Dream Boots, Wild Valley, 4D Shooting Theater, Dynamic Theater, The Haunted House, Mirror Maze, Lotty’s Climbing, Fairytale Theater, Wild Jungle and more.
Lotte World is separated into two sides: Adventure – Lotte World Indoor Park and Magic Land – Lotte World Outdoor Park.
In the indoor, you can ride on one of this colourful balloons and have a view of Lotte World Adventure from high up.
Super huge ice skating ring with seating up to 850 persons.
Feel the romance of 64 white horses revolving to the sound of beautiful melodies with Camelot Carousel.
Do you know that: Some of the scenes in the Korean Drama Stairway to Heaven are filmed here. Camelot Carousel is one of the spots!
Night parade at 7.30PM.
The iconic Magic World Castle in Magic Land. How we wish we could have a sunny day for marvelous picture of this beautiful architecture.
The rain was getting heavier with super cold wind blowing that we had to give up walking outdoor. Sigh.
Among the Lotte World attraction rides you can find in Magic Land are Geneva Cruise Lines, Load Nelson’s Armada, Gyro Drop, Gyro Spin, Swing Tree, The Comet Express and Atlantis.
Dinner options in Lotte World Theme Park is aplenty – from Zhajiang Mian, Korean Rice Bowl, Coffee, Korean Fried Chicken with Coke, Ice Cream to Western delights like steak, pasta, salad, etc.
