The Toast House KL 多士號 – 碳烤土司/紅茶牛奶, a famous breakfast cafe from Tai Chung Taiwan has landed in Subang Jaya S15!
Established in Feng Jia Taiwan with successful expansion to various locations within few years and get interviewed by Super Taste 食尚玩家 – popular Taiwan TV show focuses on food & travel reviews, we believe that The Toast House definitely doesn’t go famous for no reason.
And the great news is, we can now get a taste of their evergreen charcoal grilled sandwiches, premium red tea with fresh milk and Taiwanese egg crepe without travelling to Taiwan, as The Toast House is now in Malaysia, with first outlet opened right in the bustling SS15, Subang Jaya!
For current soft launch period, Toast House KL menu focuses on Charcoal Grilled Toast including Jumbo Thick Cut Beef Sandwich RM15, Jumbo Spicy Chicken Sandwich RM13, Jumbo Pork Sandwich RM8 and Mashed Potato Sandwich RM6; Taiwanese Pancake with filling like Bacon RM8, Cheese RM6, Veggie RM6 or Original RM4; Taiwanese Burger – Thick Cut Beef Burger RM15, Crispy Fried Chicken Burger RM13.
OMG look at this hearty “sandwich stack” with generous filling!
Jumbo Thick Cut Beef Sandwich – Beef patty, egg, mashed potato, cabbage, tomato slice, mustard, thousand island and toast bread. Jumbo Spicy Chicken Sandwich – Spicy chicken, egg, mashed potato, cabbage, tomato slice, BBQ, thousand island sauce. Jumbo Pork Sandwich – Marinated pork, egg, mashed potato, cabbage, tomato slice, BBQ, thousand island sauce. Suggest to add on cheese (+RM1) for melting, cheesy goodness.
Sandwich bread in The Toast House KL are grilled over charcl handling to ensure best quality possible. So do be patient if you food takeoal, which required carefus a little longer to arrive, especially during peak hours.
Wanted to try out Taiwanese Pancake with Chicken Floss but sadly, it wasn’t available that day. Asked for Veggie Pancake RM5 instead. Didn’t put expectation but ended up becoming our top favourite. Love the refreshing crisp from cabbage and sweetness of corn, coupled really well with the warmth, chewy egg pancake. So nice that Summergirl polished clean everything, only to realize later that Summerkid had not have even a piece. Lol.
Crispy Fried Chicken Burger RM13, a delicious combo of fried chicken thigh, cabbage, cheese, egg, tomato slice and thousand island sauce within halved sesame bun. Golden brown, crunchy outer layer, jacketing juicy, tender cut of meat. So good we could skip Zinger Burger and Spicy Chicken McDeluxe for this.
Beverage choices are straightforward – Taiwanese Black Tea, Taiwanese Black Tea with Fresh Milk, Local Coffee, Special Royal Coffee, Hot Milo and Black Sugar Ginger Tea. Overall, love this wallet-friendly cafe for breakfast/brunch, with price capped at RM15.
Crowd Condition: Open as early as 7.30AM on weekdays and 8.30AM during weekends. Busy by 9.30AM, especially during weekend. During our visit, we woke up late and it was almost fully occupied by the time we reached around 9.30PM. So be early or be ready to wait.
