Throughout the month of July until the third week of August, Sheraton Petaling Jaya will be featuring a luscious spread of seafood delicacies at Feast, the hotel’s all day dining restaurant.
Diners are welcomed to indulge into a vast varieties of seafood cooked in different method, from fresh ice bar items to traditional prepared dishes. Among the must-try are Butter Prawn, La La in Superior Soup, Steamed Fish with Golden Mushroom, Seafood Fried Rice with XO Sauce, Alaskan King Crab Leg, and Rock Oyster – just to name a few.
Baby Squid with Special Sauce, Lobster with Spicy Sauce, Sotong Sambal, Kari Patin, Kailan Masaka Ikan Masin, Jeera Rice, Fish Curry, Squid with Soy Sauce, Claypot Yee Mee with Prawn for Asian-style seafood.
Check out Lobster Thermidor, Prawn Bisque, Deep Fried Fish with Black Bean Sauce, Deep Fried Prawn, Mussel with Cream Sauce, Baked Salmon in Puff Pastry if you love seafood done Western way.
Braised Yee Mee with Prawn, another equally recommended dish. Warmth, comforting braised noodle generously topped with huge prawns. Our top pick from prawn specialties.
Lobster with Spicy Sauce – our favourite from the hot food section. Fresh, bouncy salmon stir fried with flavourful, finger-licking good sauce. Would have already pair it with a bowl of rice if not because we wanted to save rooms for more delicious treats.
Crispy, deep fried to golden brown breaded Chicken Liver, Fish Egg, Chicken Gizard and Fish Fillet. Something that stands out from the buffet line despite not the highlights, as we don’t come by these in many other buffet unless during festive month.
Tummy warming clear Soup Noodles with plenty of toppings to choose from, such as Sausage, chicken cubes, mushroom, prawns, cabbage, squid, fish cake, etc.
Sushi & cold cuts
Found a hidden food corner within the dining area of Feast Sheraton Petaling Jaya, where we get to “shabu-shabu” our own ingredients and make it hotpot like.
Other than seafood, this buffet also covers poultry selections including Daging Rendang, Ayam Masak Merah, Satay Ayam, Breaded Chicken with Light Brown Sauce, Beef Stew, Lamb Cutlet with Mushroom Sauce, Roasted Lamb Leg, Roasted Chicken, Lamb Masala, Chicken Peratal, Braised Vegetables and Chicken with Black Pepper Sauce.
Desserts! Colourful, tempting cakes and tarts. We can stay up another hour for these.
5 types of ice cream to choose from, which are corn, pandan, butterscotch, strawberry and peppermint. Our ice-cream trick : ask for an crushed peanuts filled-apam balik and topped it with double scoops of ice cream! You would love the combination.
