Hazukido Croissant Malaysia at SS15, Subang Jaya 八月堂 is now opened!
Established in Taiwan, Hazukido has received much attention for their croissant since opening. The brands hold on the Shokunin spirit of Japan, selecting only the highest quality in making croissant – fine natural butter from Europe, flour from Japan and ISO certified eggs.
Each croissant is painstakingly prepared with exclusive folding technique, aiming to create well-textured, crispy at the outside, soft and buttery at the inside pastry.
Today, they have outlets not only in Yilan, Tai Chung, Tao Yuan, Gao Xiong, but also expanded to overseas such as in China Shanghai, Jiangsu and the latest one in Malaysia Ss15, Subang. More outlets to look forward to, including our neighbourhood country – Bangkok Thailand.
Finally made our way to Hazukido Malaysia Ss15 Subang last weekend and got half a dozen of these much raved about Croissant! Price is relatively reasonable, starting from RM5.50.
Flavours wise, they have 14 types on the menu – Raspberry Panna Cotta, Early Grey Milk Tea Croissant, Chocolate Custard Croissant, Okinawa Brown Sugar Warabi Mochi Croissant (*limited edition), Black Sesame Croissant, Apple Croissant, Hazelnut Macron Croissant, Golden Cheese Croissant, Custard Croissant, Okinawa Brown Sugar Croissant, Milk Caramel Croissant, Garlic Croissant, Honeycomb Croissant and Lemon Icing Croissant.
Mostly sweet flavours, but we do hope that their delicious savory pastry like Cod Roe Croissant and Smoked Chicken Quiche will be introduced in Hazukido Croissant Malaysia menu one day. If you are going on a trip to Taiwan soon, do not forget to look for their Truffle Cream and Sauce & Queen Crab Croissant and A5 Wagyu Beef Croissant! Available for a limited time, only at selected outlets.
Among the 6 flavours we had – Raspberry Croissant, Black Sesame Croissant, Golden Cheese Croissant, Okinawa Brown Sugar Croissant, Okinawa Brown Sugar Warabi Mochi Croissant and Hazelnut Macron Croissant; we enjoyed the first three mentioned most.
Raspberry Croissant is especially outstanding, thanks to its special combination of raspberry puree tinged with fresh lemonade. Sweet & sour, matching right with the croissant.
Planning to re-visit and tried their Apple Croissant, as it wasn’t available that day. Can’t wait to sink our teeth into Hazukido Apple Croissant that uses premium Aomori Sun Fuji Apple as the filling! Do check out this cafe when you in SS15 Subang.
Plus point: Hazukido Malaysia is located at the quieter are of SS15 Subang Jaya, next to Gong Cha Bubble Milk Tea Shop.
