SOULed OUT Ampang, a KL dining destination that doesn’t need further introduction. More than 20 years in town, and still standing strong as one of the recommended restaurants & bars that welcomes everyone for casual dining, special occasion, events & functions, party or merely gathering over drinks.
Just recently, SOULed OUT Ampang launched a newly revamped menu, introducing a couple of dishes that cover flavours from different countries such as Bakso, Kake Udon Soup, Roasted Duck Pizza, Sloppy Joe Pizza, Lamb Kalabi Pizza, Bhuna Chawal, Cheesy Guacamole Sandwich and more. Of course, signatures like Fried Beef Noodles, Golden Butter Prawn, Sizzling Lamb Shorloin, Sake San Pizza still stay, so that you can always get your favourite when you are here!
What makes the whole new menu more noteworthy is none other but their outdoor charcoal-fired #ChillnGrill kitchen, specially set up for sizzling grill of steak & skewers.
Ribeye Steak (300gm)- Grain Fed RM99, Grass Fed RM69; Sirloin Steak (360gm) -RM99, Tenderloin Steak (200g)-RM99
Ribeye Steak, Sirloin Steak or Tenderloin Steak, choose your done-ness and get ready to tuck into delicious meat seared with juiciness, laced with smoky char-grilled goodness. Served with one side dish, sauce and dip.
Keep the flames of grill going! We had Flame Grilled Chicken RM22, highlighting boneless chicken thigh braised in spices, finished with soy glaze over open fire. Sided with fried tofu, chicken meatballs, sambal and shrimp crackers.
Hyderabad Lamb RM39, from the Indian cuisine section that SOULed OUT Ampang always take prides in. They have a Tandoor Oven originates from the Middle East. Now with #ChillGrill, they use the age-old cooking methos to serve up succulent skewered meats.
Whole lamb shank, slow-braised till deeply flavoured up with gravy seasoned with lots of spices. Rich and hearty main, best to go with freshly made warmth kulcha – a type of Indian flatbread.
Roasted Duck Pizza RM24, new on SOULed Out Ampang menu. Thin, crispy pizza base made from beetroot dough, topped with pineapple, crispy shallot, roasted duck meat, tamarind glaze.
Kakiage RM12, light bites for sharing. A combination of julienned vegetables and tempura batter, deep fried till golden brown. Crispy snack that would be well-loved by the young and old alike.
The Yoda RM19 as dessert, but we both think it deserves a place in the brunch too. A concoction of avocado, banana, spinach, skinny milk, youghurt, layered with spinach, chia seeeds, kiwi fruit, pumpkin seeds and goji berries. Refreshing, healthier treat to end the meal sweet with less guilt. Lol.
Guinness Chocolate Milkshake RM21 – Guinness, chocolate syrup, cheesecake syrup, vanilla frappe
Jackfruit Mojito RM28 – Rum, sweet herbal liqueur, jackfruit puree, vanilla syrup, lime wedges, mint leaves
Drinks options are extensive, from SOULed OUT Ampang famous mojitos to Tutti Fruity Sangrias, Shaken cocktails, margarita, beers, whisky and spirits. Non-alcoholic beverage including Spicy Mango Melon, Apple Mint Cooler, Peachy Melon Fruit Punch, Strawberry Crush, etc., are worth a try too.
