Italian Afternoon Tea @ Prego Restaurant
Enough of rolling on the bed and taking pictures, we headed to Prego for their newly launched Italian-theme afternoon tea, specially crafted by Chef Marco De Cecco.
3-tier afternoon tea set with a twist, highlighting Italian sweet and savoury treats from Northern to Southern of Italy. Bruschetta, Venetian Crostoli, cannoli and mini calzone are our favourite. In fact, the whole high tea set is worthwhile, as the selections are different from the usual afternoon tea in Kuala Lumpur.
Price: RM98nett for two, inclusive tea or cofffe
Time: Monday – Saturday, 2PM-6PM
Restaurant: Prego Italian Restaurant
Pool Side Cocktails @ Splash Restaurant & Bar
Pool time with our favourite Mojito and Long Island Iced Tea!
Splashing fun with your wellness taken care of, as the pool is using salt water instead of chlorine water.
Back to our room after that and had a deep, soaking bath overlooking the beautiful KL city skyline.
Amazing sunset view from our room.
Italian Dinner @ Prego Restaurant
Dinner at Prego!
Being one of the best Italian Restaurants in Kuala Lumpur, Prego prides itself with gourmet pizza cooked in artisan built wood-fired oven, along with a promising list of antipasti, homemade pasta, risotto, and Italian specialties that will set to impress.
Picked three items from Prego menu that evening – Pasta Divina, Napoleta Pizza and Tagliata di Manzo/Beef Tagliata. Tagliata di Manzo RM178 – 250g Australian grain-fed beef sirloin, medium rare doneness. Recommended!
Pasta Divina RM72 – Homemade tagliatelle cooked in freshly made light tomato sauce with clam, mussels, scallops, prawn and squid. Love that lemon zest finish. It works wonders in brightening up the overall flavours of the dish with its refreshing, sourish touch. Tips: Do ask for the original version with nuts if you have no allergy to these.
Shared a Napolena Pizza RM48. Puffy, slight crispy crust, soft at the center pizza base, topped with tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, anchoviews, capers and oregano. Summergirl’s favourite.
