Six speciality chefs at Lemon Garden will be cooking up a storm too, churning out their signature dishes for all to try. Free flow of festive-themed mocktails will be offered during lunch and dinner.
Began with the appetizers, cold cuts and salad counter, you can have Dill Smoked Salmon, Salmon Gaviax with Dill & Cream Cheese, Chicken Liver Pate & Apricot Compote, Turkey Loaf, Smoked Duck with Plum Sauce, Marinated Chicken Roulade with Peppercorn and Spiced, Tabbouleh with Tomato Vinaigrette, Shredded Fish Flake Salad with Baby Romaince Lettuce, Roasted Beef Salad with Snow Pea and Spicy Vinaigrette, Tomato & Mozarella Cheese with Basil Leave,n Confit Prawn with Thyme and Kyuri Salad and Potato Salad with Basil Leave and Olive.
Move on to Western mains, Roasted Duck Marinated with Orange – the highlight in this festive buffet, comes in sight. Crispy skin, succulent meat, laced with mild citrusy hints of orange. Do check out Cheese Souffle with Onion Cream and Pumpkin Pie with Walnut Crust from the same counter, they are also must-haves in this eat-all-you-can.
Other than this, Beef Pie, Duck Breast with Roasted Potatoes & Clarified Brown Butter Sauce, Baked Fish with Romesco Sauce & French Bean, Wild Mushroom Salad with Feta Cheese & Olive, Cucumber & Ripe Tomato Salad, Roasted Beef Pizza, Salmon Pizza, Lamb Bolognaise Pizza are worth trying too!
Seafood galore! Something that Lemon Garden buffet has been long famous for. Crab, mussels, scallops, prawns, clams, baby lobster all laid out fresh on ice!
Chinese counter is our favourite section in Shangri-La Hotel KL buffet. Steam Fish with Ginger & Soy Sauce, Fried Mantis Prawn with Spicy Salt Pepper, Assorted Seafood with Nyonya Sauce & Vegetable, Stir Fried Chicken in Sweet & Sour Sauce, Fried Rice with Barbeque Chicken & Asparagus, and dim sum are all good.
But if there’s only one thing we could have from the Chinese section, it would definitely be their soup. Lemon Garden buffet serves really amazing Chinese soup that is so nourishing, and tummy warming. During our visit, they had Double Boiled Watercress Soup with Dry Oyster and Herbal Chicken Soup. Love both. Summerkid had 3 bowls of the Herbal Chicken Soup!
