KFC Chizza Chicken x Pizza is finally here in Malaysia! Get your pizza with chicken base at KFC outlets nationwide, from 21st November 2017 !
KFC Chizza took the social media world by storm when KFC from our neighbouring country launched it earlier this year. It is said that Chizza is available only in Asia for now, limited edition menu, specially just for few countries. – A reason that is enough to make us pay RM15.90 and bought one Chizza Box to try.
How Does KFC Chizza Looks Like:
Replacing normal pizza bread dough with KFC Fried Chicken Fillet is undoubtedly the main attention for Chizza. Crispy hot & spicy golden brown outer layer, shielding juicy breast meat. Topped with standard toppings for a pizza – tomato sauce, onions, pineapple, mozzarella cheese, chili and parsley flakes.
The real KFC Chizza looks pretty close to our expectation though. Or just we didn’t put much expectation. Haha. Expect a gap with the beautiful promotional photos, “picture is for illustration purpose only” serves well as usual.
How Does KFC Chizza Taste Like:
Taste wise, we would say that it lives up to its name, fits the purpose of chizza – chicken + pizza. Like eating fried chicken fillet with pizza toppings, but nothing extraordinary. Personally feel that the tomato sauce is a little weird on the chicken. Maybe it is just use who don’t like tomato sauce. LOL. Other than that, it is quite OK.
What is the Price for KFC Chizza in Malaysia:
KFC Chizza is priced at RM7.90 for ala-carte. You can make it a combo by adding French fries and drink, which will cost you RM11.90. For KFC chicken lovers, add few more bucks and upgrade to Chizza Box, where you will get chizza, chicken, drinks and French Fries at RM15.90.
Verdict:
For KFC promotional items, Zinger Double Down is still our favourite by far. For Chizza, you can try once. We’ll choose to stick to a normal real pizza or KFC Spicy chicken the next time.
