Yezi, the restaurant that serves one of the best premium steamboats in town has opened a new outlet at 1Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur! So anticipated to pay a visit as we have been missing their delicious lobster meat ball, homemade prawn paste, delicate coconut chicken soup base and many more!
Following the success of their first restaurant in The Roof, Bandar Utama, Yezi aims to satisfy diners’ palate with their fine selections of steamboat ingredients and soup in 1Mont Kiara outlet too. Definitely an opening that make KL folks like us cheers, as we do not have to travel far to Damansara for the best steamboat in town. Plus, Chinese New Year is just around the corner, now we know where to bring our family for reunion dinner!
To celebrate this festive season which is all about reunion, where everyone comes together for lots of eating, sharing and laughters, Yezi has launched a special CNY 2017 menu, putting together 3 choices of steamboat set for 6pax and 10pax, price started from RM488++ onwards.
Thanks to Yezi, we get to sample one of their Chinese New Year sets for 6 pax, started with Special Salmon Yee Sang as appetizer. Toss higher for a more prosperous year!
For soup steamboat broth, diners can choose among Prosperity Broth, Imperial Canton Broth or Fragrant Shao Xing Wine Crab Broth. We opted for the third one, and glad with the clean, nourishing taste, already good even before adding in steamboat ingredients.
For CNY 6 pax set, we were served with Tiger Prawn, Sea Asparagus, Fresh Pork Slice, Fried Lobster Salad Balls, Chicken Balls with Mushroom, Prawn Paste, Fish Paste, Mixed Vegetables, Mixed Mushroom, Crystal Rice Cake and Ramen.
As usual, seafood and meat is fresh – Bouncy prawn, tender meat slices. Yezi meatballs are still our favourite, especially the lobster ball. Very “doink doink”, with mayo sauce oozing out from the centre once biting through.
Everything is nice from the beginning till the end, including the dessert coconut ice cream. Not too sweet, pleasing coconut flavour and refreshing taste that is great to clean the palate after the meal.
