Steamed River Marble Goby with Crispy Ginger 脆姜蒸河笋壳鱼
Steamed Sea Cucumber with Goose Feet 龍船鵝掌海參
Of all, our favourite goes to Steamed Sea Cucumber with Goose Feet and Pan Fried Marmite Prawns. The former, which features whole bouncy sea cucumber filled with cubed roast meat, water chestnut and carrot, then dressed in thick, flavourful brown sauce is no doubt a delicious classic taste; while the goose feet are equally noteworthy. Gorgeous sauce coated on the skin, braised till soft skin but still remained chews.
Pan Fried Marmite Prawns 干煎媽蜜紅海蝦
Pan Fried Marmite Prawns may not be an extraordinary dish but with Marmite sauce, the prawns get flavoured up easily with a sweet, salty, subtle bitter concoction.
Golden Sweet Corn Fried ice with Waxed Meat 荷葉臘味扣香飯
Other dishes include Fried Spare Ribs in Black Bean & Honey Sauce, Braised Baby Abalone with Sea Cucumber & Black Mushrooms, Braised Shanghai Noodles with Meat Sauce & Scallops, Braised Seafood & Black Truffle Soup with Pumpkin, available on different set menu of Genting Palace during CNY.
With something for everyone, no mater a small or large dining group, Chinese New Year will surely be wonderful with chilly weather and delightful food selections at Genting Highlands.
