Four Points by Sheraton Puchong, a new hotel resides in PFCC business hub, also the first international chain hotel chain in this area. The location may seem away from major KL tourist destinations but as we look through in detail, the hotel is actually strategically located – only 20 minutes drive to reach KLIA airport, plenty of cafes & restaurants around, near to LRT station, IOI Puchong Shopping Mall, Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall, Sunway Lagoon. With the convenience of highways, getting to the heart of KL city is less than 30 minutes too!
Ideal not only for business travellers and tourists who are looking for an international hotel near to airport, but also great for locals like us to have a hotel stay-cation over the weekend while hunting down many good food in Puchong, shopping opportunities nearby and getting our booze at Setiawalk.
Just below the hotel itself, there’s already few cafes for good coffee and desserts – Miss Toast Cafe, Walnut Cafe and Ground Eatery. Get your Japanese food craving fixed at Hiro-Zen if you wished to. Just across the road, 7-11 is ready 24 hours. Walk down further you can have MIX convenient store, a shop famous for international snack products. Along the way, you will get welcomed with various eateries which are more than enough for your breakfast till dinner, even supper. Your stomach will never get hungry staying here.
We checked in to Four Points by Sheraton Puchong last week for a mini “Christmas Getaway”, as we wanted to have a quiet Christmas, away from the hustle KL city but at the same time get to enjoy good stay in international hotel brand at affordable price. Four Points Puchong easily becoming our top pick. Plus, we’ve been to Four Points Penang before, and it was really wonderful.
Check-in process is smooth and fast with polite staff at the front desk, explaining on some of the facilities available, hotel’s dining spot and wifi service. Parking is complimentary for hotel guests so we can go out and come back without having to worry about parking fees. Just validate at the counter.

There are 249 guest rooms and suites in Four Points by Sheraton Puchong, with choices of Deluxe King, Deluxe Twin, Deluxe Corner Room and Executive Suite. Our Deluxe Room is quite spacious at 30m sqr. ft., complete with all basic amenities.
King size bed, super comfy! So nice that we spent most of the time staying in. Do nothing but just eat, watched movies, sleep and repeat. Hahaha. At night we looked out through the room’s ceiling-to-floor glass windows, and watched people happily having Christmas parties at Walnut Cafe next to the hotel.
Well-equipped with ironing board, hair dryer, in-room shoe, in-room safety box, bathrobes, high speed internet access.
We actually like their mini bar, because apart from the usual complimentary bottled water, instant coffee and tea, there are extra packets of BonCafe coffee and a French press coffee maker for better coffee experience! Something that well suit Summergirl. LOL.
Bathroom is big, separated into dry and wet area. Hand lotion, shower gel, bathroom gel, hair conditioner, shower cap, toothbrush & toothpaste set, bath towels are all ready, so you can keep your luggage bag lighter when staying in Four Points Puchong.

And public area with workstation in case you need to use a computer.
Our stay was included breakfast for 2. Woke up pretty early the next day for breakfast at The Eatery. Buffet style with beautiful spread, from local favourite like murtabak, rice with chicken rendang, fried rice, mee hoon goreng, spring roll, noodles, porridge to international selections such as pizza, breads, cold cuts, sausages, fries, hashed brown and more. There’s also an egg station where we get to order omelette, sunny side up or over easy.
In short, our 2D1N stay in Four Points by Sheraton Puchong was really satisfying. We especially love the comfortable bed and mini bar with French press brew.
