Eggu Gei Dan Zai has opened their second outlet in Sunway Pyramid, after the success in Atria Shopping Mall. Yay! More snack-on-the-go in this shopping mall.
Eggu Sunway is located at Lower Ground, the level with plenty of eateries like Manhattan Fish Markets, Steak Shack, BBQ Plaza and so forth. The kiosk is behind the merry-go-round, within the children playground area, opposite to BRANDS outlet. Hidden but not hard to notice, thanks to the signboard in bold yellow and blue with eggette illustration.
Curry Chicken Floss RM7.90
From Plain & Simple series that have Hong Kong-style Original, Charcoal, Honey Star and Green Tea infused egg waffle; to Munchy Chips series with Choco Chips, Butterscotch, Marshmallow, Honey filled; Savoury Salt selectios that goes creative with Charcoal Cheese, Seaweed Chicken Floss, Curry Chicken Floss, and Plain Chicken Floss – Eggu menu now has over 10 flavours to choose from!
Price starts at RM6.90 for original, while the rest is RM7.90. We bought three – Starry Night, Curry Chicken Egg Floss and Charcoal Cheese and finished all on the spot. So addictive that we popped in one small waffle ball after another and could hardly stop. Why is it so good ah?
Starry Night RM7.90
This is Summergirl favourite. Honey Star at the center of each gei dan zai, adding more “charm”, flavours and texture. Never thought that honey sweetness from this star-shape cereal can match so right with gei dan zai. LOL.
Charcoal Cheese RM7.90
Charcoal Cheese Gei Dan Jai may be the least attractive in look but don’t judge the book by its cover. This is the best among the 3 we’ve tried!
Tuck in when it is hot to enjoy the melted cheese filled within each eggette – crunchy, chewy, cheesy. Some of the cheese melted then harden at the outside, slightly burnt but this is how it should be like. More salty crunchiness that pairs really well with the gei dan jai. Strongly recommended. Summerkid love this most.
Softserve is not ready yet during our visit but staffs told us it will be ready very soon. So do be patient ya. You can make your gei dan zai into combo by adding Lemonade or Honey Green Tea too! More value in price, and can wash down with refreshing drink.
