Sector 7 SetiaWalk Puchong – Get your hands dirty with seafood feast and cheap beer while overlooking the beautiful lake!
Seafood in one hand and a bottle of beer in another, life is good if we could enjoy like this everyday. Of course we can’t afford such luxury too often but pampering ourselves with seafood feast once in a while isn’t that bad huh? Visited Sector 7 at Setiawalk Puchong last week after reading reviews from our blogger friends’ blogs. The restaurant is offering 5 bottles of Carlsberg at RM35 (10 bottles for RM60) ?if we ordered with Seafood Combo. So cheap how to resist?!! Haha, yeap we love beer.
Sector 7 is located beside the man-made lake, next to The Beer Factory. Under the same management, just you will be getting different brands of beer here. Even though Sector 7 is more recognized as a bar for drinking, you can also indulge into a wide variety of main course, bar bites, and even desserts here. The latest offering on their menu is tadaaa — Seafood Fiesta.
It is seafood louisiana boil concept, crustaceans as the central elements. Cooked seafood are tossed with finger-licking good sauce, then pour on table. No cutlery will be given but a pair of gloves (* you can eat with bare hands too). Pick you favourite, beer by your side, and start eating!

We went for the largest set because there were 8 of us. Live Indonesian mud crabs, sang har prawn, Japanese clams, baby squids, Vanamel prawns, half shelled scallop, baguatte, corn, eggplant, roasted potato beautifully spread out on the table. Each of them is well-coated with sauce, locked with juiciness. Do peel the shell slowly or else the sauce will end at your friends’shirt. This happened to Summerkid. Stay calm and eat wisely. Hoho. Also, no white shirt but if you did, ask for apron to wear on from Sector 7 staff. So thoughtful of them to have this ready!
For those who prefer to go ala-carte, you can order through 3 easy steps. Step 1: Choose your seafood- Live Indonesian Crab, Japanese Clams, Baby Squids, Sang Har Prawns, Half Shelled Scallope and Vanamel Prawns.
Step 2: Choose your sauce – XO Sauce, Spicy Seafood Sauce, Lemon Cream Sauce, XO & Spicy Seafood Sauce Combo. We had Lemon Cream Sauce which is clearly, rich, creamy with tinge of citrusy; and XO & Spicy Seafood Sauce which is really tongue burning.
Step 3: Get add-on items like bread (RM3), corn on cob (RM4), eggplants, potatoes (RM5), sausages (RM5), and rice (RM2). Corn on cob is all-time-favourite but bread is must-order because you can mop off the sauce with it!

Deep Fried Soft Shell Crab is surprisingly delicious, even though we left it aside for a while. Slightly cold by the time we had time for it, but glad that it was still very crispy and not oily at all.
