Pablo Cheese Tart – No.1 Japanese baked cheese tart from Osaka, Japan is finally opened in One Utama, Malaysia. Expect to see another round of cheese tart hype and long queue after Hokkaido Bake Cheese Tart, Tokyo Secret Malaysia and Uncle Tetsu.
It was a great pleasure to be invited for Pablo review last Sunday, enjoying few of their signature products, which rest assured, will not be disappointed with. The store is located between Hokkaido Sushi and Wondermama Restaurant, on the second floor of old wing, same side with AEON.
Our first experience with Pablo was in Shinsaibashi, Japan. We still remembered we queued in the cold windy night for their cheese tart. The 40 minutes waits was felt worthwhile when we finally tucked into this legendary sweet treat.
Original Freshly Baked Cheese Tart RM45.90
Pablo Malaysia menu will be having the same signature large size cheese tart as in Japan. In fact, all these tarts are imported directly from Japan, freshly baked in Malaysia. Three flavours to go for – Original Freshly Baked Cheese Tart (RM45.90), Freshly Baked Matcha Cheesetart with Shiratama & Azuki (RM49.90), Freshly Baked Chocolate Cheesetart (RM49.90).
Sampled the original version, baked medium rare. For outer crust, it is differ from other cheese tarts which are buttery and crumbly, but more like danish crust, or Portuguese Tart crust, non oily version . A little shatter-crisp at the exterior, nestled with gooey, melt-in -mouth cheese. Best savour when still warmth.
Pablo Mini RM8.90
For those who enjoy denser cream cheese filling, check out Pablo Mini, another crowd-favourite. While Pablo Fresh Baked Cheesetart scores on the velvety smooth, melting soft texture; Pablo Mini on the other hand, is more rich and solid.
Pablo Choco Crunch (RM47.90), Sabrel Cheese (RM32.90)
Besides cheese tart, other products like Pablo Choco Crunch (RM47.90), Sabrel Cheese (RM32.90), Golden Brulee Cheese Pudding (RM72.90/box, RM12.90/piece) are worth trying too. We really like the Sabrel Cheese – thin square biscuit sandwiched with parmesan cheese and gouda cheese cream filling.
Classic Cheese Tart Frute RM15.90
For beverage, Pablo is prides for their coffee and Pablo Frute. The latter is priced at RM15.90 each. You can opt for CLassic Cheese Tart Frute, Matcha with Shiratam Frute, Rich Mango Cheese Frute, Rich Berry Cheese Frute, and Special Chocolate Frute. Sweet and sinful but addictive!
Stay tune for their opening on 6th December 2016, 2PM. Pablo Malaysia will be giving out 100 free Signature Cheesetart for their first 100 customers! Make sure to be in the queue early!
