Available from Monday to Friday, 7PM till 10.30PM, Xin Cuisine steamboat is priced at only RM50nett per person, with minimum reservation of two persons. Enjoy with your loved ones, friends, colleague or family over bubbly hot pot dinner, best especially during rainy day!
There are 3 types of broth to choose from, namely herbal soup, chicken soup and curry soup. Yes, you read it right. Curry soup, definitely a less found steamboat base in KL, but always a favourite choice to go with noodles or rice. Good replacement to the usual fiery hot, sour tom yum soup.
We enjoy both herbal and curry base, as the former is mild, nourishing with pleasing hints of Chinese herbs, while the latter is packed a punch of flavours, rich but medium spiciness. Add in sliced pork, chicken slices, Tiger prawns, fish fillet, squid and get the broth to infused with sweetness of meat gradually.
Summergirl loves fish maw and deep fried fuzhok, as they gracefully soak up the broth to become plump, burst with flavours of the broth once biting through. Sliced chicken is surprisingly nice, very tender. Haha.. Big praise to ourselves for not leaving it in the broth for too long.
Other items on the list includes dumpling, button mushroom, egg noodles, lettuce, Chinese cabbage, egg, sliced cuttlefish, spinach, young cabbage, tofu, sliced top shell. Big thumbs up to their fish ball and also dumpling with bouncy prawn filling, freshly prepared by chef daily. Now I am missing Xin Cuisine dim sum already.
Last but not least, crack in an egg and a portion of noodle into the soup to complete the steamboat experience. We like it in curry. I have a curry, I have a mee, uuh, curry mee~ #PPAP Hahahaha. Just ignore us.
