Update as of Aug 2020: Pigs & Wolf at Pavilion KL has closed down.
Pigs & Wolf at Dining Loft, Pavilion KL, a restaurant run by the team behind Three Little Pigs & the Big Bad Wolf, continues porkilicious tales of the brand from Bangsar Village to Tropicana City Mall, now in Pavilion and coming up in Ipoh, Perak.
I’m So Hungry I Could Eat A Wolf! RM29
Enjoy all things good about pork here, be it breakfast, lunch, teatime or dinner. Hungry eater is always welcome to challenge their I’m So Hungry I Could Eat A Wolf during brunch hours – signature big breakfast platter that features 2 Omega eggs, smoked US pork sausage, US hasbrown, US applewood smoked bacon, sauteed button mushroom, US baked beans, grilled tomato & toast. Complete with a cuppa of coffee, is BUY 1 FREE 1, so come with your friends!
Mac N Cheese Burger RM36
From 11AM onwards, gets your tummy ready for a list of delicious choices on Pigs & Wolf menu, complete with appetizer, salad, pastas, main course and dessert. Most of them are added with a touch of creativity above the Western & Asian classic, such as this Mac N Cheese Burger. Usual bun is replaced with homemade breadcrumb coated mac n’ cheese, sandwiching US pork patty.
The Big Black Wolf Burger RM36
Open your mouth big, take a deep bite into The Big Black Wolf Burger to enjoy the most from this big burger that layered up cheddar cheese & bacon infused US pork patty, fresh lettuce, tomato, bacon strip, US crispy onion ring, cheddar cheese in charcoal bun.
Prawn Aglio Olio RM29
Pasta options don’t go far from porky ingredients, but there’s also non-pork selections such as Prawn Aglio Olio and Mushroom Truffle Spaghetti. Tried out the former, which tossed spaghetti with prawns, smoked garlic, cherry tomato, fresh chilies and parsley. Very subtle in spiciness, so for diners who prefer their aglio olio pack with punch of flavours, probably can ask for extra spicy if kitchen allowed.
The Wolf’s Favourite RM29
We recommend The Wolf’s Favourite, cream sauce base pasta loaded with smoked pork bacon, button mushroom and parmesan cheese, topped with a poached egg and bacon strip. Creamy, but not cloying.
Mummy Piggy’s House Salad RM29
Surprisingly, Pigs & Wolf serves pretty awesome salad, allowing diners to enjoy pork in a less guilt, more balanced way. Vegetables, fruits, meat and dressing are rightly concocted, providing satisfying multi-textures, colours and flavours.
Roast Pork Fried Rice RM28
For those who can’t skip rice in every meal, no worries, Pigs & Wolf has got this covered. Try their Roast Pork Fried Rice with Japanese-local fusion twist. Fried rice with roast pork, basil, beans, Asian herbs & spices, served with pork kebab, fried soft boiled egg and sweet chilli dipping. A tad similar to Chinese yong zhao fried rice, but more towards sticky instead of dry, fluffy and well separated rice, as Japanese rice is used. Also, minus the wok hei, added with savoury flavours of roasted pork.
Lone Wolf Baby Back Ribs RM49
Two imported from US bone ribs, cooked till easily fall off the bone, soft with a little chews remained, flavourful in every bite, thanks to the smoked BBQ sauce. Further laced with onion jam, mustard remoulade and a side of rainbow slaw. One of the must try from Mains menu.
Just Another Pork Steak RM39
Grilled pork steak marinated in Pigs & Wolf secret piggy-wolfey sauce, served with fries and salad.
Pork Kebab RM26
Grilled pork, mushroom, capsicum, onions and cherry tomatoes on skewers, glazed with special BBQ sauce and a side of salsa.
Porky Fries RM14
Get best of both worlds together in one plate. Luncheon meat cut in strip, deep fried till crunchy, with texture resembles French fries. At the side, you’ve got cross cut fries, drizzled with cheesy sauce and smoked bacon bits! Best with a pint of beer!
Bacon Wrapped Mozzarella
Savoury, chewy bacon rolled with mozzarella, that is calories loaded but eat first and work out later! Tuck in while it is hot to get the long pull melted cheese sensation! Sharing? Yes, but we can finish the whole plate on our own because it is so addictive!
End the meal with something sweet. Check out deep fried Mars bar with vanilla ice cream, or cakes selection from the dessert counter.
