Browse through our blog, you may realize we are the-very-cafe-kind of people, tracing down the best cafes in Klang Valley for breakfast and brunch during weekend. Our latest found is a surprise, none other but weekend brunch at Hilton Hotel Kuala Lumpur!
Speaks about brunch in a hotel. This happens only when we are on vacation, pampering ourselves as much as we can regardless of price. When we came across Hilton KL Hotel brunch menu GRAZE from only RM15 onwards, imagine our excitement. There’s now a reason to enjoy brunch in a hotel even on normal weekends!
The launch of weekend brunch is definitely a great move for Hilton KL, adding another noteworthy daytime dining option for the hotel which is already well-known for their wide spread of buffet at Vasco’s, Chinese cuisine at award-winning restaurant Chynna, Japanese food from Iketeru Japanese Restaurant and having one of the top bar & grill in town, Chamber.
Hilton weekend brunch is pocket-friendly, in fact, cheaper than many other cafes out there. It is casual, everyone is welcome, be it couple, friends or families. Dress in your most comfortable attire, visit from 9AM through 3PM, and enjoy lovely brunch in a elegance, stylish environment.
The menu spans across some of the popular brunch selections, from healthy selection of muesli, granola yogurt to crowd favourite poached egg in glass, Spanish omelette, Turkey Ham & Cheese Croissant with Scrambled Egg and dishes on sweeter end – French Toast with Berry Compote, American Pancake and more! There’s surely something that suit you here.
Ruffled Egg, Smoked Salmon, Bagel and Dill Creme Fraiche RM18
Egg-citing start, a highlight that has soft bagel layered with moist, fluffy Ruffled egg, pairing in perfect with saltiness of smoked salmon, finished with drizzles of herbs filled creme fraiche sauce. The salmon is so good!
Egg in Glass & Prawns RM18
Egg in Glass & Prawns- highly recommended. The name may be the simplest among others on Hilton Weekend Brunch menu but do not skip this. The 63 Celsius poached egg itself is enough to make us return. It sits in 63 degree celsius for an hour, slowly emerges into beautiful poached egg. Fork through and observe the runny, yellow egg yolk oozing out, blending into saute prawns and mushroom. Perfect!
Chef Marc’s Signature RM48
A beautiful platter, inspired from Chef Marc’s childhood brunch. In GRAZE, chef makes this Bavarian meatloaf from scratch, sliced and seared, served together with sunny side up fried egg, creamy spinach, roast potato. A change to poached egg or omelette may not be granted, because chef wish to remain this breakfast-from-his-home-country as classic as possible.
Add on roast potatoes, hash browns, spicy beef sausage, crispy beef bacon, homemade baked beans, saute baby spinach, grilled Roma tomatoes, sautee mushrooms and saute avocado relish for a more hearty breakfast.
Our favourite side dish? Saute cubed avocado with coriander, spring onions and tomatoes. Tossing spring onions with avocado can be an acquired taste to some, but Summergirl loves how it gives a punch of pungent contrasting flavour amongst the rich, buttery goodness.
Swiss Bircher Muesli RM18
Healthy options come healthy yet tasty, putting together Avocado & Smoked Chicken Breast Salad, Sundried Cherry Tomato, and Mixed Leaves; Reuben Sandwich, baby gem lettuce, corned beef, cabbage, swiss cheese; Whole Grain & Carrot Muffin, Smoked Fish & White Bean Cassoulet, Romaine Lettuce; Greek Yogurt, Mixed Berry & Tasmanian Leatherwood Honey Granuola and Swiss Bircher Muesli to please.
Greek Yogurt, Mixed Berry, Tasmanian Leatherwood Honey Granola RM22
Summerkid’s favourite. Greek yogurt topped with mixed berry, Tasmnian leatherwood honey granola.
American Pancake, Berry Compote, Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream RM18
The list of Something Sweet can be ordered as part of your brunch mains, but if you don’t, it deserves a place as desserts too, after your delicious savoury mains. Try from Trio of Fruits – Grilled Sarawak Pineapple, Banana Tempura & Apple Beignets; French Crepe, stuffed Banana, Almond Flakes, Chocolate Sauce, creme chantilly; American Pancake, Berry Compote, homemade Vanilla Ice Cream.
French Toast, Berry Compote, Cinnamon Whipped Cream RM18
Cut through the warm French Toast that delivers thin crispiness at the outer layer, soft and moist, butter pudding-like at the inside, and pair it with freshly made berry compote in sharp, tangy sensation, plus cinnamon infused whipped cream.
Overall Reviews: Hilton KL Hotel is now a worthwhile brunch spot comparable with many other hipster cafes out there in terms of environment, price and quality. Cappuccino is only RM10 with beautiful coffee art, freshly squeeze fruit juice is RM12, the poached egg is so much win. Everything is inclusive of service charge 10% and GST 6%.
