Sushi + Rotary Sushi Bar at Puchong Jaya introduces the first “air-conditioned”, covered conveyor belt Japanese sushi in Klang Valley, allowing diners to enjoy more hygienic and fresher sushi.
Located opposite to Yuan Garden Dim Sum House that churns out one of the best dim sum in Puchong, between Old Town Kopitiam that serves Malaysian favourites and Moonlight Cafe & Bakery Shop which is well-known for their durian cake, breads and pastries, Sushi + Rotary Sushi pulls in a different concept right above these two eateries, attracting both young and old to visit.
Walking in, we got attracted with the transparent, glass-covered, rotating conveyor belt that occupies a large part of the space. Like sushi riding on bullet train, in turtle pace version hahaha. We were told that the conveyor belt is installed with special cooling system which can keep sushi from air dust, and stay fresh in chilled air till you take them out to eat.
There are over 30 types of sushi to choose from the belt, together with chef’s daily special. Price wise, Sushi + Rotary is between the infamous RM1.80 sushi restaurant and medium-range sushi bar. Meaning, affordable price sushi that everyone can enjoy without hurting the wallet too much. LOL. 5 price tag by default for your kaiten-zushi: RM2.30 for green, RM4.30 yellow, RM6.30 blue, RM8.30 red and RM10 black.
Tempura Moriawase RM13
The brand is first started in US, and brought into Malaysia later with new idea while preserving the core of Japanese food. Hence, apart from conveyor belt sushi, Sushi + Rotary Sushi Bar also has a full-fledge menu that covers wide varieties of Japanese delights – from sashi, tempura, salad, grilled, soup, noodles, rice, curries to set meal and bento.

Gozen is one of the most popular choice in Sushi + Rotary, as it put together bits of everything to please. A bowl of Japanese rice, unagi kabayaki, assorted sashimi, Japanese pickle, salad, miso soup, chawanmushi, fresh cut fruits – more than enough to fill a hungry tummy.
