Tiny Temptress Macarons has opened a physical store in Sri Petaling KL, with Salted Egg Yolk Macaron on their dessert menu! It is along Jalan Radis Bagus 8, just right above Softsrve Sri Petaling. Same row with Yorokobi Art Cafe and Neighbourhood Coffee. Competitive shop row complete with softserve ice cream, coffee, pastries, macarons, and also, more sweet treats from Moonlight Cafe nearby. Too much, we would say.
Anyway, we’re glad with The Tiny Temptress Macarons opening. They named it as Tiny Temptress Artisan Patisserie, having macarons and other French Patisserie as their highlights, alongside with coffee, tea and cold drinks to beat the scorching hot weather.
Tiny Temptress has been in Malaysia online business since 2013, specializing in handcrafted macaron. From classic macarons with flavours like Lavender, Caramelized White Chocolate, Chocolate Mints, Lychee Rose to Macarons Tower and Customized Macarons in different shapes, each item is crowned with positive feedback from customers. A French sweet-confection perfect as birthday gift, door gift, corporate souvenirs, birthday parties, wedding or any celebrations throughout the year.
Now, everyone can get a taste of Tiny Temptress macaron on the spot from their Sri Petaling outlet, which opened from 1PM till 11PM currently. We love how the brand reflects its logo theme into the cafe’s design. Starts with the giant baking whisk door handle; followed by a dreamy interior that combined pastel grey, pink and white (you’ll notice it is the same colours as their packaging box and logo background); photography worthy outdoor with pillows of the same soft tone, filling up the white bench.
Plus, two cute soft toys to add some charms to the cafe. We believe “the duo” will soon becoming the cafe’s mascot, because Tint Temptress has come out with Salted Egg Yolk Macaron! RM10 per piece isn’t cheap, but it is interesting to savour Salted Egg Yolk Ganache that carries a touch of saltiness sandwiched within two sweet “meringue biscuit”.
Wanted to try out Dark Chocolate Bear Macaron (RM8) too but sadly it wasn’t available during our visit. Switched to Passion Fruit Macaron instead but the taste wasn’t up to our liking.
Bear Necessities RM14
Bear Necessities, The Sweetheart, L’Affection, Cloud 9, Tarte Au Citron Meringue, Brulee Marshmallow Ice Cream are some of the selections you can have on Tiny Temptress Artisan Patisserie dessert menu. All seemed so good that we hoped to try out every single flavour.
Ordered only one because of the price. Bear Necessities earned our attention, thanks to its adorable bear-shape appearance. Tasted as good as its look. Oolong mousse, passion fruit Belgium chocolate ganache, Belgium chocolate marzipan sponge, biscuit base all-in-one go for a creamy, rich and deep chocolaty sensation. Nice!
Overall review: Another new destination for sweet tooth to get desserts in Kuala Lumpur. In terms of macaron flavours, Tiny Temptress Salted Egg Yolk Macaron has its advantage but texture wise, we still prefer macaron from Nathalie Gourmet Studio. But we so like the Bear Necessities.
