In the holy month of Ramadan, Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur will be showcasing its unique rendition of authentic local and international favourites of over 100 dishes at Mosaic and Lounge on the Park, as well as Diamond Ballroom from 6 June to 5 July 2016.
Break fast with family and friends at Mosaic and savour a myriad of dishes freshly prepared by the brigade of culinary maestros led by Chef de Cuisine, Andreas Block. For appetisers, indulge in Paceri Nenas, an assortment of kerabu such as Urap Nangka Tampe, Kerabu Sotong Tradisi, Kerabu Mangga Muda Ikan Bilis, Ulam Kampung dengan Telur dan Ikan Masin, and Tauhu Sumbat Bersayu. Local snacks such as Keropok Lekor, Serunding Daging Mak Tok, Kerepek Ubi Kayu Pedas, Otak-Otak and Karipap are also available.
Warm up to a selection of soups such as Sup Pedas Ala Sichuan and Sup Kambing Mamak or sample the delicious Bubur Lambok, a traditional Malay porridge and be prepared for more to come.
Next, relish in a variety of main courses that includes the traditional Lemang, Rendang Daging, Kambing Kuzi Rencah Asli, Ayam Percik Pantai Timur, Sambal Tumis Udang Harimau Petai, Ikan Talang Masin Goreng Asam, Gulai Kawah Rusuk dan Rebung, Nasi Minyak, Lemang Bakar Pulut Susu, Nyonya Curry Laksa, Chicken and Beef Satay, Murtabak, Roti Canai, and Kari Ayam, just to name a few.
If you are in favour of sampling international cuisine, delight in a melting pot of dishes featured at the grill, wok, noodle and tandoor station. These stations include a variety of pizzas; fresh homemade pastas; Lamb Chops; Crispy Roasted Chicken with Thai Mango Salad; Buttered Tiger Prawns; Stir-Fried Grouper with Fermented Bean and Pepper and much more.
End your meal with sinful desserts all lusciously displayed at Mosaic’s dessert island as well as Lounge on the Park. With selections such as Bubur Pulut Hitam, Bubur Kacang Bersago, Putu Buluh Bambu, dates, Malay kuih, Ice Kacang, Chilled Longan with Almond Bean Curd in Syrup and more, diners are sure to be going back for seconds. One of the highlights of the ‘buka puasa’ spread at Mosaic is the special showcase of local fruits such as durian and mangosteen, all presented at the outdoor terrace of Lounge on the Park.
The Buka Puasa buffet is priced at RM 188 nett per person and RM 94 nett per child (4 to 11 years old) at Mosaic and Lounge on the Park. Patrons will get to enjoy a special price of RM138 nett per person and RM 69 nett per child (4 to 11 years old) for bookings made on 6 June to 12 June 2016 as well as 4 and 5 July 2016.
For a tinge of festivity amidst an exclusive backdrop, groups of four and above can also enjoy Buka Puasa in the Diamond Ballroom from 13 June to 3 July 2016 at RM 158 nett per person and RM 79 nett per child (4 to 11 years old). Exuding grandeur that is perfect for all occasions, the Diamond Ballroom promises a banquet-like showcase of not only authentic Malay, but also Chinese and Indian favourites with live-action stations – making it a perfect ambience for large gatherings of friends and business partners.
