The latest hot spot in Kota Damansara, Dataran Cascades @ Mitraland, gathered celebrities and nightlife society of Kuala Lumpur in a themed event named ‘GLOW’ on Friday, 29 January 2016. Located beside Giant Kota Damansara, Dataran Cascades @ Mitraland is the hidden jewel within the busy enclave.
GLOW received special appearances include Malaysia’s renowned super models Amber Chia and Wilson Tan; Malaysia’s most wanted club emcee, the multi-talented MC Vibe; and two of the hottest DJs in Asia, Leng Yein and her sister Leng Sean.
The night was an affair catered for all senses, spanning over four outlets in this brand new F&B hub: Ichiban – the Izakaya (a hip and trendy Japanese restaurant that serves perennial Japanese fares), La Majaa (a restaurant that offers a wide range of Spanish, Western and Asian cuisines), Brazzo @ Cascades (a gastro-pub style restaurant chain from Johor) and Bottle
World (a bar boasting more than 50 types of craft beer from different breweries around the world).
From Japanese to Spanish cuisines, guests were served with a variety of delightful signature dishes at each outlet, which includes sashimi, sushi and yakitori at Ichiban – the Izakaya; XL Hokkaido Scallops, NZ Lamb Rack and Signature Pork Cheeks at Brazzo @ Cascades; and a selection of tapas from prawn to meatball at La Majaa. At Bottle World, guests had the opportunity to sample an extensive range of craft beer from all over the globe. While enjoying their meal and beverages, the guests were presented with a unique LED lion dance show to make prosper and cherish the celebration of the night.
The concourse of Dataran Cascades transformed into a mini concert arena with high-energy live and DJ shows. Hosted by MC Vibe, this fun-filled event showcased performances by Yuni (a contestant of the singing competition Project Super Star) who sang incredible renditions of numerous songs from the oldies right up to the latest hits with her band;
and the Leng sisters (DJ Leng Yein and Leng Sean) who concluded the night by keeping everyone moving with their hard-thumping dance tunes.
