Balsamic Roasted Carrot Wrap RM32.00
Hard Rock Cafe only have one page for their vegetarian menu, available only in this October. Whether these dishes will be remained, it is still within consideration. So do check out their Facebook more often for latest promotions and news. Choices are sum up to 2 beverage, 2 salad, 2 burgers and 2 wraps. All tasted pretty new to us, very different from our local vegetarian food that blends in ample of gravy, and use of mock meat.
Tomato Arugula Salad RM45.00
For vegetarian salad, choose between Pear Salad or Tomato Watermelon Salad. We tried out Tomato Watermelon Salad, as we are not a fan of blue cheese which is one of the ingredients in the Pear Salad. Having watermelon, arugula, roma tomatoes, red onion and feta tossed in lime vinaigrette, you can expect the salad is packed with refreshing fruitiness, and a touch of citrusy.
Spinach, Potato and Chickpea Burger RM39
To be truth, Hard Rock Cafe ‘s vegetarian burgers deserved a double thumbs up for their effort in getting a good patty. Spinach, Potato and Chickpea Burger focuses on a housemade patty made from red skin potato, spinach, chili peppers, cilantro, chickpeas and spices, topped with arugula, tomato, cucumber and spiced yogurt sauce. May be bland for some but Summergirl, the all-time-vegetable-lovers enjoyed it much. She said the both the red skin potato and spinach come to a good marriage, flavours elevated with aroma from cilantro and spices.
Kefta Burger RM35.00
Kefta Burger is easier to be accepted in general, as the patty put together shitakes mushrooms, portabellas mushroom, balsamic glaze, barley, thyme and seasonings, further topped with sriracha hummus, arugula and tomato. More flavourful, helmed with natural sweetness of mushrooms and laced with much-loved sriracha unique flavour. All burgers are served with toasted bun and french fries.
Southern Spiced Tofu Black Bean Wrap RM32.00
We preferred Southern Spiced Tofu Black Bean Wrap over Balsamic Roasted Carrot Wrap, as the former packed with plenty of textures from black beans, brown rice, red onion, peppers, corn, cilantro, tomatoes, jalepeno, garlic, honey and spices with grilled tofu and garlic cream. While for the later, it is a more simple wrap filled with seasonal greens, red onion, hummus and balsamic glazed oven-roasted carrots. All wraps are served in grilled flour tortilla and salad.
