Ti Chen Chinese Restaurant from Saujana Hotel Kuala Lumpur celebrates 2015 Mid-Autumn Festival with 12 varieties of snow skin mooncakes and baked skin mooncakes, gracefully packaged in luxurious stand-up boxes covered in faux leather. Ideal gifts for family, friends, corporates and business associates.
Highlighting a delicious, improvised contrast of trending flavours inspired by memorable recipes, The Saujana Hotel Kuala Lumpur snow skin mooncakes are surely to please. There are four flavours to choose from, namely Musang King Durian Custard Snow Skin Mooncake, Banana Chocolate Snow Skin Mooncake, Red Velvet with Mocha and Cheese Snow Skin Mooncake and Green Tea with Red Bean Paste Snow Skin Mooncake.
Banana Chocolate Snow Skin Mooncake is new recommendation from Ti Chen this year, featuring a cake-like texture packed with creaminess, blending in soft, chewy touch from the skin. Eat while it is cold for best taste. Of all four, Green Tea with Red Bean Paste Snow Skin Mooncake is our favourite, as we enjoy the light hint of green tea aroma, coupled well with medium sweetness red bean paste.
If you are a purist, and believe that mid-autumn festival is not complete without indulge into baked mooncakes, The Saujana Hotel Kuala Lumpur hears you. They have eight type of traditional baked mooncakes in 2015, all handcrafted using premium ingredients.
Pure Lotus Paste Baked Skin Mooncake, Low Sugar White Lotus Single Yolk Baked Skin Mooncake, Diced Chicken Ham and Mixed Nut Baked Skin Mooncake, Pandan Lotus Paste with Single Yolk Baked SKin Mooncake, Sweet Corn Lotus with Single Yolk Baked Skin Mooncake, Red Bean Paste Baked Skin Mooncake, and Black Sesame Lotus with Single Egg Yolk Baked Skin Mooncake – Pick your favourites.
While most Ti Chen Baked Skin Mooncakes taste great with authenticity, Chef Yau adds a touch of creativity by infusing milk tea and sweet corn into two of the mooncakes selections. Milk Tea Mooncake can easily be accepted, and for the sweet corn lotus filling, it is interesting. Flavour of sweet corn is rather distinct to us but if you love corn, this may earn your liking.
Ti Chen Mooncakes are priced at RM26-RM33 each for baked skin, RM25-RM30 for snow skin. Get them from 10th August till 27th September 2015 at The Saujana Hotel Kuala Lumpur Lobby Level, Saujana Golf & Country Club, Ti Chen Chinese Restaurant, Golfer’s Terrace or Jugoya Japanese Full Moon Festival Mooncake Fair 2015 at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, Tokyo Street (28th Aug to 27th Sep).
