Hua Hin Itinerary Day 2 : Royal Pavilion Hua Hin Hotel -> Santorini Park -> Swiss Sheep Farm -> Palace of Love & Hope -> Plearn Wan Eco Village -> Sam Phan Nam Floating Market -> Cicada Night Market -> Wilawan Hua Hin Restaurant
Hua Hin Itinerary Day 3 : Hua Hin Railway Station -> Hua Hin Beach -> Back to Bangkok
Our 2nd day trip at Hua Hin Thailand ended with surprise when we came across Wilawan Hua Hin Bakery, Coffee and Restaurant, an astonished restaurant which we first thought as residence.
Appears in soft blue, finished with greyish rooftop, this bungalow-like restaurant is just a tone throw away from Cicada Market, the popular weekend night market in Hua Hin.
How to reach: If you are standing with your back facing the entrance of Cicada Market, walk across the road and turn left, continue to walk straight for another 2 to 3 minutes, a dreamy, Victorian building will welcome you at the right.
Wooden floorings complemented by walls painted in white and baby peach, finished with victorian-style design. Chandelier gracefully hanging from the ceiling, further adorned with framed pictures, pottted plants and decorations that make the entire restaurant looks so sweet, and homey.
Fried Rice with Chicken 180baht
Wilawan Hua Hin offers extensive choices on their menu, covering from local favourite such as fried rice, tom yum noodles with Western delights such as chicken chop, grilled steak, etc.
Spicy Spaghetti with Pork 220baht
We loved this spicy spaghetti with Pork, highly recoomended for spicy lovers as you will be drown with the extra spicy, fiery kick in every munch. Noodles was stir fried with ample of green peppers, basil, chilli, onions, developing strong flavours of herbs and spices in the palate.Tossed with minced pork for extra bites.
Orange Chiffon Cake
Wilawan Hua Hin’s best seller- Orange Chiffon Cake. However, it doesn’t really live up to its name, as the texture falls on a cross between sponge cake and butter cake. Soft and spongy but not light and airy enough, dotted with faint hint of orange fragrance.
Latte
Summergirl had been yearning to get fresh coffee so Wilawan Hua Hin’s latte would fix her craving in the mean time. Wasn’t bad either, milky sweet with well-round taste.
Wilawan Hua Hin Bakery, Coffee and Restaurant is still consider a hidden place to tourists, but famous among the locals. Remember to add this place into your list for dinner when you visit Hua Hin Thailand.
