Nook Aloft Yee Sang has the usual shredded vegetables and condiments come together to deliver a plethora of colours, textures and flavours. Thickly sliced, buttery raw salmon adds on the luxury touch. Interestingly, Nook Aloft KL Yee Sang comes along with a tiny packet of “pop pop” that bring reminiscence of childhood. Yes, we can hear the sizzling sound from “pop pop” during tossing, after tossing as well as when sending the Yee Sang into our mouth! Fun!
Received complimentary Yee Sang when you dive into Nook Aloft KL January Promotion- Modern Malaysian Tasting Menu. The Modern Malaysian Tasting Menu is priced at RM108++ for 8 course set, inclusive of cocktail and wine pairing. Complimentary Yee Sang is only applicable to booking of 4, and you will receive small portion of Bling it Gold (Golden Salmon Yee Sang). For booking of 8 diners, full portion will be served.
In case you are not into full tasting menu, a-la carte menu is available too.

Visited Nook for numerous time, till date, there is no way to deny Nook Aloft creativity in combining Western and Malaysian flavours to reach for a whole new level of taste. Just buttery goodness of raw salmon as appetizer is too main stream. So Nook Aloft laid them on a bed of desiccated toasted coconut that surprisingly comes to a good marriage, rendering pleasant coconuty aroma. Mix them with finely chopped apple served aside to fold in some refreshing tanginess.
Chicken Soto Consomme
Our soto usually comes with noodle, and we hardly appreciate the soup. Glad to see Nook serves up chicken soto consomme in their soup course, sending lots of clean, simple flavours with roasted peanuts, rice cake and deep fried meatballs in the center for more textures.
Spinach sambal with Crisy tempeh
It is really soft, creamy, stirred in with a touch of coconut milk richness. Layered beneath is rich, flavourful sambal, providing tongue numbing spiciness. Texture contrast comes in as you tuck in with the tempeh crowned above, rendering lots of chews and mild crispiness.
WXYZ Mojito
Enjoy Modern Malaysian Menu with WXYZ Mojito, Nook Aloft signature cocktail that we never fail to love.
Lime Sorbet
Clean the palate with refreshing lime sorbet before going for main courses.
Silver Cod Assam Pedas
Our favourite from the Modern Malaysian Tasting Menu. Extra moist and mellow soft cod fish fillet dressed in flavoursome assam pedas sauce. A dish that lives up to our expectation, albeit not much surprise in taste.
Scallop Sarawak Laksa
The all-time-favourite at Nook Aloft kl, and the must-try no matter you go for their ala-carte or buffet line. The Sarawak laksa taste a little different from our last try, less spicy, more salty and intense with pungentness of herbs and spices. Squeeze in some lime juice to balance the over-rich broth.
Tumeric Nasi Lemak with Wagyu Beef Cheek
Wagyu beef cheek deeply flavoured with rendang gravy, no complains on the mellow soft texture of meat, thanks to the premium selection.
Rainbow Sago Gula Melaka
End the meal with eye-pleasing, colourful Rainbow Sago Gula Melaka dessert nestled in glass bottle, served with coconut milk and honey filled in syringe for some DIY fun.
After the success of the 1st Edition Menu, Chef Rozaiman Bin Mohd. Sahid is back
with his creation for Modern Malaysia Tasting Menu, which is available through out the month of January 2015.
Modern Malaysia Tasting menu uses mix ingredients which juxtaposition creates a treats for the palate with its Malaysian flavours,
infused with some Western Ingredients.
