LA/PA at Bangsar KL, Jalan Telawi 3 urshers in the new year of 2015 with a series of exciting cold pressed juice, espresso-based coffee, breakfast brunch menu as their highlights.
Opened by the cheerful team behind Quartet TTDI, LA/PA goes on a similar concept and interior in their brand new cafe – the passion to serve good coffee and good food, great hospitability. In fact, everything a step more better.
Located at the same row with Nosh, Inside Scoop, dipndip, Alexis Bistro, etc., LA/PA stands out from others in its calm blue colour shade roof. Signage is a bit small, but as long as you recognise Quartet shop sign, it wouldn’t be a problem to you. They are of the same “theme”.
LA/PA focuses on modern kitchen design with touch of industrial finish. Wooden tables in light colour; white tiles decked up the wall halfly, complete with rough concrete walls and steel racks adorned with bottles in LA/PA stickers for raw rustic feel.
We loved the combination of colours and textures all come into a balance, harmony, resulting in clean, relaxing yet homey atmosphere.
Menu here seems memorable, but we are yet to try out in the next visit. Duck Egg in Purgatory, The Quail and Herbed Pasta, Jalapeno and Cheddar Croquattes, Pear and Apple Brie Sandwich are the selections that caught our attention.
LA/PA coffee is the must have, handcrafted with fresh roasted single origin beans from a well-known roaster. Milk coffee is blessed with premium Australian dairy milk for best quality.
We were there around 11am on Saturday, half occupied. By noon, the place was full house. Great place for breakfast and brunch, but the noisiness level can be annoying. Do come early, or avoid brisk business hours, if you wished to have a quiet meal.
Flat White
LA/PA does table service, so just browse through the menu and order your food from the staff, but pay at the counter before you leave the restaurant. Pay a visit to LA/PA the next time you in Bangsar and enjoy ‘your neighbourhood supply”.
